2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Wording[edit]

Similar concern as with the evolution counterexamples, um, counterexamples: Funny to talk about individual authors being ignorant when many (if not most) of CP's examples are quite obviously parody. And unrelated: the Sun hydrogen/helium counter doesn't actually address the original post. Kalliumtalk 06:15, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

They have the approval of Andy which means he believes the counterexample himself. AceX-102 06:19, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
It's a great litmus test, really: Does it seem incompatible with my worldview on the surface? Doesn't appear to... must be True despite what everyone who studies it says! Victory! Kalliumtalk 03:58, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
