Should this page be merged with Schlafly Brewery? they seem to say the same things. He is the Painkiller 15:01, 20 March 2009 (EDT)

Is this Tom guy seriously related to cranks like Phyllis and Andrew Schlafly?[edit]

I know it says that he's apolitical. But I don't want to be giving money to far right-wing religious dingbats every time I buy his beer. And it's damn good beer.

Please tell me he's estranged from the crazies. — Unsigned, by: 70.237.201.153 / talk / contribs

Based on the article, he looks pretty sane, and he's only Andy's cousin in the first place. Bastard cubic Hoover! 21:57, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Enzymes[edit]

Actually, humans lacked aldehyde dehydrogenase, the metabolism is two step:

Ethanol ---Alcohol Dehydrogenase---> Acetaldehyde ---Aldehyde Dehydrogenase---> Acetic Acid

It was the latter that caused problems, in the same way as people get very sick from alcohol when taking Antabuse because it inhibits aldehyde dehydrogenase. Also, about a third of Oriental people still have the deficiency, because historically they would boil water rather than use fermentation. One of my friends from Hong Kong goes bright red every time he drinks more than a pint :) CrundyTalk nerdy to me 16:08, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Issues[edit]

Link for the newsletter section is dead. Also, cites needed for saying he's related. Not that I care too much. Also, delete? Although a quick glance through the news and events section of the brewery shows a few interesting things such as a theological discussion being hosted there, or something like that, this is totally and utterly irrelevant. CP space[edit]

Should we move this article to CP space? This guy isn't very notable to anyone other than those here and at CP. The articles on Andy's brothers are already there. Sam Tally-ho! 05:54, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

I say move to Conservapedia space. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 05:55, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
