What on Earth makes you think Joe Lieberman is a "liberal"? He's not even a Democrat now, and even when he was, he was pretty consistently a Bush-Booster.

Heck, I'll bet you though Bill Clinton was a "liberal", too. (In terms of actual policies, Bill was the most successful Republican since Eisenhower. And the GOP will NEVER forgive him for that.) --Gulik 00:30, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

What makes you think Bush is a conservative. By any analysis, Bush is liberal to radical. Gays in the military, still have them. Late term abortions, still have them (partial birth abortion procedure, one method of late term abortions, notwithstanding). Citizens protecting our boarders, "vigilantes" according to Bush. You people keep on challanging my facts, but says he is an "independant democrat HeartGold tx 07:45, 2 July 2007 (CDT)
I thought that more gov't intrusion in your personal life was liberal (according to you) so you would want the government to not regulate things like a woman's uterus. Therefore, Bush allowing late-term abortions would be a conservative value. Also, not regulating homosexuals in the military would also be conservative. olliegrind 08:06, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

I wonder how they test for "gayness" in the US military, do they take a blood sample? How many gay parts per million do you need to be exempted? MiddleMan 08:30, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

The don't ask don't tell policy comes from a Clinton executive order, and can be overturned with another Bush executive order, except Bush supports it, along with women in combat roles, and other evil. HeartGold tx 08:40, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

Other evil being women walking outside without their burqa on? MiddleMan 08:46, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

Amazing how quickly liberals use cover of ad hominem when their other arguments fail. HeartGold tx 08:47, 2 July 2007 (CDT)
Amaizng how quickly you blame liberals when anyone disagrees with you. olliegrind 08:56, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

I still don't have an answer to my question about how the US military tests for "gayness", maybe I should PalMD? On the bright side, at least there's an easy way to escape a draft. MiddleMan 09:04, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

Well, pending a DNA test (assuming Gayness not a choice), the opposite of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is "Ask and listen". HeartGold tx 18:15, 2 July 2007 (CDT)
And, now, MiddleMan, the big question, is homosexuality a choice, or an random mutation? HeartGold tx 18:20, 2 July 2007 (CDT)
Is liking busty redheads with freckles and adorable Scottish accents a choice or a mutation? And why does it matter? --jtltalk 18:46, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

"the opposite of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is "Ask and listen"."

And people never lie... What if the recruit says he/she is straight when someone else says they're gay? Who are you gonna believe? Not that it matter since only backward 3rd world countries (Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc...) would ever pursue such a policy, and America is not a backward 3rd world country, is it? MiddleMan 18:50, 2 July 2007 (CDT)'

Not yet, but BushCo seems to be doing their damnedest to turn us into the biggest, most heavily armed third world nation around. --Gulik 19:20, 3 July 2007 (CDT)
That means we win, right? --jtltalk 19:30, 3 July 2007 (CDT)
