Thanks! Acei9 05:17, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
No problem. I think it is an interesting essay. The whole idea "blows" my mind apart ;) ħumanUser talk:Human 06:59, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
You should watch the Lawrence Krauss lecture. Brilliant. Acei9 07:03, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
You realise PJR isn't going to actually read this? CrundyTalk nerdy to me 08:08, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
I don't expect him to come here and this. I have something else for him. Acei9 08:11, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

Great essay. It really furthers my understanding of a concept that is often explained in far too technical terms for a layperson.--Brendiggg (talk) 13:39, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

Hello, Ace! I'm RationalWiki user Ander Garin, and I've to say that yours is a great explanation about the origins of the universe. However, I've a doubt. I used to think that space didn't exist before the Big Bang, so, does the field that you mention occupy space? And also, do quantum fluctuations need time to occur? I'm RationalWiki user Ander Garin. 19:17, 11 August 2015 (UTC)

This is fairly old and Ace has not been active for awhile. The short answer is space-time is expanding into something. We don't know what it is because the only way to find out is to go outside of our bubble 14 billion light years away. We have not found a place without time to see if quantum fluctuation occurs, only spaces without particles (a vacuum). -EmeraldCityWanderer (talk) 19:25, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
Thank you EmeraldCityWanderer! Anyway, I've found an article somewhere that says that a metaestable false vacuum does not necessary need to have time or space. -User:Ander Garin 8:45, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
