- This does seem pointless, but it is in essay space, which I guess is a rather permissive area? Anyway, the list of famous people who have died in plane crashes is pretty exhaustive. Buddy Holly, Glenn Miller, Richie Valens, Payne Stewart, John Denver, JFK Jr., Roberto Clemente - just to name a few off the top of my head. Planning on naming them all?
