Forum:Articles at end of pages

Hi. Long time lurker here. It would be nice to have links to good/featured articles at the end of pages (I know they're at the right on some articles but it's good to keep visitors/readers interested in reading diverse articles on the page. I've made a couple mockups (scroll down to the end of the pages) as to how they might look. The first is with some subcategories with a random article (both categories and articles can be randomised) and the second mockup is with articles that actually have images. Would this be worth considering?

- No because it just looks out of place to suddenly have big square links to article--Mikal | lakiM 04:00, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- This just looks like a copy of the clickbait you get on news sites etc, and they only do that for the ad revenue. Also, who would decide what gets linked? There'd be lots of pointless squabbling among the people who cared, and a lot of eyerolling from everyone else. SophieWilder 18:05, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- I just assumed that the featured and gold articles would be fine. Much like there is the random featured article button I thought this would be a good way to have visitors read more featured articles and exploring different categories. But if this is just going to cause grief...then let's forget about it. --Shabidoo (talk) 18:44, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
