Forum:Suggestion for a new article

Hello, I want a consensus on whether or not we should add an article dissecting a particular blog I've found called Land Destroyer, which follows politics and the news like your blood through the veins. I want to see your reactions to its content, 'cause I think it's ripe for such dissection. To get you intrigued, Land Destroyer believes the United States engineered the Arab Spring to install rebel militias and puppet governments in mind so they could challenge Iran. Thoughts on whether or not we should have an article on it? Serocco (talk) 10:01, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- Does it offer any criticism of Russia or Iran? No. Does it republish articles from a wide range of sources aside from Russia Today? No. Is it full of disingenuous assertions like '[Iran's] military program has only served a defensive function' (What about Hezbollah)? Why is there a huge advertisement on the right for a book written by two individuals whose articles have been republished on the front page of this blog? Vajrapani (talk) 01:49, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
- There we go, a discussion. It's actually highly critical towards "corporate-financier" interests, meaning the Wall Streets of the world, so it's not some Russia Today clone. Serocco (talk) 09:39, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- Looks juicy and ripe, ready for some debunking and dissection. Go ahead and write! Reckless Noise Symphony (talk) 09:54, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- Here's a taste of what it publishes. It keeps advocating for boycotts and alternative, self-sufficient economies to counter the "global oligarchy" of corporate-financier interests (like News Corp, Goldman Sachs, Halliburton, Blackwater et al). Serocco (talk) 09:59, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- Start writing! Browsing through it, it is certainly mission-worthy! So now all we need is an article. Reckless Noise Symphony (talk) 10:01, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- All right... there we go. I made the first introductory line. We can all converge on its talk page and dissect it there. Serocco (talk) 10:08, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll take a look and give feedback when I come back tomorrow. Reckless Noise Symphony (talk) 10:20, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- I'll leave another link for you as a stepping stone for what its contents are. Here is what it thinks of Islamophobia. Serocco (talk) 10:23, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
