Greetings, Serocco, and thank you for joining the treasonous xenomorph wiki! I hope you enjoy your time here. Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 07:26, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

That you have been demoted to sysop. For shame. --MtDPert yet flexible 08:40, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
Sorry to butt in, but I think there's a reason for your demotion. LeftyGreenMario (talk) 04:58, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

stop changing predictions once you've made them--Miekal 04:39, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
No seriously dude[edit]
You don't change pre-elections predictions -after the election-. thats not how that works. Stop. --Miekal 21:52, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
- Ahhh, dammit. All right, I deserved that edit block. What can I do now? Serocco 00:39, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
- Unblock yourself and wait for important results? discuss other implications?--Miekal 00:42, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
- I can unblock myself? Although I've heard Battersea is key, since it predicts every election correctly since 1987. Serocco 00:43, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
- Maybe, unless you were blocked at moderator level. Anyway, the point is, we're not trying to replicate news sites (they'll always pwn us), but just to natter about the election, commiserate, point and laugh etc. Bicyclewheel 00:47, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
- Miekal was the one who blocked me. Dunno how to get it lifted or even contact Miekal.Serocco 00:48, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Details[edit]
Please give them—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 09:43, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
Could you maybe not report on every video Sargon puts out? Some aren't that important.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 03:12, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. Serocco 03:13, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- Like the stuff Variloh wrote about was somewhat good but I personally don't see the utility in reporting on every video he's done where he's shown to be a hypocrite.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 04:01, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- Well, we could make an article about Sargon of Akkad. He is the most visible Gamergater from what I can tell. Serocco 04:30, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

Sam Harris article[edit]
Please do not reintroduce more quotes to the Harris or Malkin section. Several editors have agreed the list is too long and we have purposefully reduced it. Moreover, we only need the more egregious quotes; only those suit the "Let's play Harris or Malkin" writing device. Also, as you can see from the talk page to that article, the idea that anyone is "quote-mining"Harris is rejected by the majority. Thanks.---Mona- (talk) 04:06, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, so, I was basically overselling it when the quotes that were already there were pretty much all we needed to show that, yeah, he is a questionable figure? That's fair. Serocco 04:12, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- Not sure what you mean. But these issues have been the subject of quite a bit of hashing out already, as you'll see on the talk page and in the FR history.---Mona- (talk) 04:14, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- Basically, there's no need for me to add more because what's already there is enough to get the point across. That's what I was saying.Serocco 04:16, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's pretty much it. It had gotten so long it was diluted and making the eyes glaze over. ;) ---Mona- (talk) 04:18, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- Wow, so its main problem was that it listed too many questionable quotes and stances? :O Serocco 04:20, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- It was just way, way too long. And some of those quotes were not all that egregious, which dilutes the quiz thingie.---Mona- (talk) 04:57, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, so you wanted the most egregious quotes, not necessarily every questionable quote. So shall I remove the part where it says at the top that he has been quote mined, since the majority on the talk page say he hasn't? Serocco 05:02, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

Falun Gong[edit]
Hello there. Please do not cite Epoch Times for Falun Gong historical information. This is for two reasons: 1) Falun Gong owns Epoch Times, so anything they report about the organization is likely to be self-serving 2) they have reported plenty of woo and conspiracies, as shown on the Falun Gong page. Bongolian (talk) 06:06, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, fuck, I didn't know that. I'll stick to more objective sources than them. Serocco 06:08, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
Sanders and the black vote[edit]
The thing is, while the age gap is real, it doesn't fully account for the fact that Hillary gets 2/3 - 3/4 of the black vote. Michelle Alexander argues it's more because blacks listen to their leaders, and the big names in the civil rights movement of the glory years mostly endorsed Hillary. Also, Alexander -- who adamantly believes Hillary Clinton does NOT deserve the black vote -- says the Clintons were the first politicians to treat blacks as people, to go to the their churches, and invite them as friends to the White House. Of course Bill did that with gays as well, and as one gay friend said to me back then: "he pats us on the head and then supports hideous legislation." He hated Clinton for that reason. But that method worked for the majority of both gays and blacks. Until recently, the age gap in the black and LGBT communities is also real. BLM -- a youth movement -- is MUCH less supportive of Hillary than is the Congressional Black Caucus.---Mona- (talk) 21:37, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- All of those are true, and should be mentioned if it hasn't already been done so for the article, but I do think the age gap should be put somewhere in that article because it is important when looking at the future of the Democratic Party and not just Sanders vs Clinton.Serocco 21:55, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

Don't forget[edit]
...to add some sources in <ref> tags; why — it's the way to top off any excellent addition. All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 07:53, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
- Include sources; pretty please with sugar on top? Reverend Black Percy (talk) 09:04, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
- Wait, which articles would you like me to cite sources on? The latest one about Chechnya? Serocco 09:12, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, please! Your analysis is terrific, and (based on what I know) I believe it to be fully factual. But the average reader doesn't know how you know that, and is rightfully wary of all unsourced claims. And remember, Putin's troll army is patrolling the web in order to "tweak" (and contest) text like the one you just wrote. Solidifying your claims beforehand with refs to your non-crank sources goes a long way towards promoting the very same message which your own analysis seeks to convey. With ref tags, everybody wins. Please take the time the format sources[edit]
It's a little more time-consuming, but it pays off as it makes parsing through the sources easier. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario! 19:48, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
- Again, please format your sources. For most of the sources, it goes as [Author name] ([Date of published article]) [Link to published article with the article title] [Name of article's publisher] [Date you found the source]. Don't make me have to remind you again. Thanks. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario! 19:25, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
Buzzfeed[edit]

Recent events[edit]
Please do not bother documenting all the recent events in the policies of Donald Trump. We only need to know the general trend of how things are going, and major policy decisions. Individual protests are not particularly important, even if they may be influenced by him. Nerd (talk) 21:53, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
Signing[edit]
Based on your recent edits, I wasn't sure if you knew there was a faster way to sign your comments (Template:Sign). Adding four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comment will automatically add your username and a timestamp. CowHouse (talk) 17:38, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
