Actually I've always wondered about the gender of the Christian god. It's traditionally called "He" but is also claimed by some to be gender free. On the other hand "he" (or it) had a son who was obviously male. Furthermore the holy bible says that he "sent" his son which implies that they had a parent/son relationship before god slipped a secret little something into Mary's womb. This "children producing" aspect implies that the Christian God does have some sexual gender - probably male, though female or hermaphrodite can't be ruled out.
Of course that's just biological gender. Your question about the Christian god's sexual orientation is also interesting.--BobSpring is sprung! 19:48, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
"he" might not even be human! "he" could be a duck billed platypus! ;)--Lairju1 (talk) 22:25, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
I once got permanently removed from a Pentecostal Christian's Christmas card list by wondering out loud if her diety was perhaps a pedophile. Children are lovable people too, you know. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 01:32, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
reminds me of the time a substitute teacher from texas tried to bribe my brother with candy when he wouldn't say the pledge of "allegience", and then sent him to the office when he didn't. the principle sent him back, though. --Lairju1 (talk) 21:47, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
