Raison d'etre[edit]

Instead of banning the conservative list and keeping the liberal one, let's do this. TheoryOfPractice (talk) 01:08, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Designators[edit]

This page should make the proper distinction between "liberal" and "left-wing." The erroneous conflation thereof has been a great advantage to extremists; first Reds quite transparently pretending to be "liberals," then right-wingers pretending that liberals were Reds. For example, this list could be used to say that liberals glorify fire and slaughter and hate their country. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 05:31, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Lol, get over it already, it's a "fun" page. ħumanUser talk:Human 06:57, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
What i dislike about this page is that these arent liberal songs. This represents only American Liberalism, and that is basicly social democratic left.. whilest in the Netherlands and Europe liberalism is centre-right to right-wing. examples; Classicial Liberalism --Brad1201 (talk) 08:24, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

What's not to resemble about it? That was A Mighty Wind in its purest form. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 19:22, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

June 2010[edit]

I'd like to do some major edits here. I doubt I'll delete things; but rather create a few new sub-headings, such as "not so 'greatest' "--or are there any defenders for all of the +10 Clash songs and Anal Cunt? Also, is there some sort of order here that I'm not seeing, because the listings don't seem to have an alphabetical order, chronological order, or order by genre.Civic Cat (talk) 14:49, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Johnny Cash?[edit]

What was so liberal about Johnny Cash? Last I checked, he was conservative like any good old country singer --Elvis is King (talk) 06:37, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Which is, of course, why he recorded "What Is Truth". Secret Squirrel (talk) 04:23, 30 November 2012 (UTC)

Question[edit]

Where does 'O Christmas Tree' #and its tune# fit into this list? ('Wide-eyed innocence') 171.33.222.26 (talk) 16:09, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Liberal bullshit[edit]

If anything this list proves what a load of hogwash the American liberal-conservative dichotomy is. A lot of these are not "liberals". And they're not conservatives either.-Albannach (talk) 04:15, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
