Fun talk:True Christian

I'm not sure about this article. We've got all of these points about fundamentalism covered in various other articles, & it doesn't really explain the phrase "true christian". Do we have examples of the phrase being used with this specific meaning? ωεαşεζøίɗMethinks it is a Weasel 18:25, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- While I'm usually the first to make fun of any religion, I'm not sure this one does it very well. The shrimp argument is actually quite weak.--BobBring back the hat! 18:28, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- I actually had meant for this to be more in a "fun" section than a more factual thing, although the lines are kind of blurry. I will see about getting some better examples / definition. The shrimp argument was also geared more towards the "fun" section as well, not an actual argument. JFisher (talk) 18:31, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- I think moving this to fun and building it there would be a good idea.--BobBring back the hat! 18:33, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- Another alternative would be to merge it into a section under Fundamentalist I guess.JFisher (talk) 18:34, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- My inclination would be to send it to fun and make it as sarcastic as you like.--BobBring back the hat! 18:51, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- Ditto. But if you're not sending it to fun, can you drop the ™ thing, every time you write True Christian. It's not actually a trademark. ωεαşεζøίɗMethinks it is a Weasel 19:25, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- I will drop it for now until it gets moved to Fun. The ™ thing comes from the suggestion that it's a supremely limited thing that can only be used by permission of someone who claims the tag -- but I do agree that it's only appropriate in the Fun section. - So what category should I put this in to be less-serious?JFisher (talk) 19:36, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- I've moved it to "fun" space. You (or anyone else) may now make it as funny, serious, sarcastic, as you like. If it gets really good then it may be moved back to mainspace.--BobBring back the hat! 00:04, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
