For the taming of Qureysh.

This is a place that is virtually irrelevant now with a culture that is also irrelevant. They were...some group of people Allah favoured. He armed them and supplied them and made warlike butchering victory possible for the religion of peace.

For their taming (We cause) the caravans to set forth in winter and summer.

Allah did all sorts of favours for these people. I wonder if he gave these favours willingly and freely as he expects humans to do...or if there is a price to pay.

So let them worship the Lord of this House,

Get down on your knees, bob your head and grovel to the sky-tyrant.

Who hath fed them against hunger and hath made them safe from fear.
