It just occurred to me: these shortcuts are in mainspace so presumably could be picked up by the "Random page" link; thoughts? (Does the Random page not pick redirects?) ToastToastand marmite 04:38, 7 March 2009 (EST)

No, it doesn't. Try hitting the random page button as many times as you like: you will never hit a redirect. Word stupid Hoover! 04:40, 7 March 2009 (EST)
Or a fun article. Or a conservapedia article. Or an essay. Or a debate. Totnesmartin 04:50, 7 March 2009 (EST)
is random customisable at all? User:Mei 04:56, 7 March 2009 (EST)
Not by us mere mortals. Customisation of such things is reserved for those godly beings with knowledge of both php and the root password. Word stupid Hoover! 05:19, 7 March 2009 (EST)
I checked the manual, and there's no config setting for this, so MW doesn't support it. However, you can do this --  Nx/talk  05:21, 7 March 2009 (EST)
Yes, but a php hack should be able to enable it. Word stupid Hoover! 05:24, 7 March 2009 (EST)
This is fixed in MW 1.14: "(bug 16560) Special:Random returns a page from ContentNamespaces, and no longer from NS_MAIN" --  Nx/talk  05:27, 7 March 2009 (EST)
When Trent comes back everything will be OK. Word stupid Hoover! 05:30, 7 March 2009 (EST)
It amuses me that there is a shortcut to a page of shortcuts... Scarlet A.pngmoral 13:54, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Longcuts[edit]

You're kidding, Nx, right? ToastToastand marmite 04:57, 7 March 2009 (EST)

You mean the section stuff? Well, RW:CS#TALK is easier to type than RationalWiki:Community Standards#Talk pages, and then I did the rest for consistency. --  Nx/talk  05:05, 7 March 2009 (EST)

Up to date?[edit]

Is this up to date? I am eating Toast& honeychat 13:05, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

I always add shortcuts I create to this list, but here's the (almost) complete list; some are missing. -- Nx / talk 13:35, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
