Suggestion[edit]

A candidate wish-list (sensible and fantasy). Anna Livia (talk) 10:43, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

And maybe a discussion about if it will happen. --TechCheeseprotest 06:35, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

COVID-19 Update[edit]

Already so much has happened in 2020 already, and as of writing, we're not even 75 days into the year! Should we include a section for the coronavirus pandemic? G Man (talk) 05:18, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

Also, this article is a tad bit outdated, already. We may have to tweak it accordingly. Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions? G Man (talk) 05:20, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

Kanye West is reportedly running for President in 2020[edit]

https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/music/2020/07/04/kanye-west-independence-day-tweet-running-president-2020/5378807002/

Apparently there are reports out there that Kanye West is running for president for the United States in 2020 but that's being questioned over documentations and how much of West's funding goes to the Campaign.2601:640:C600:3C20:5CC9:8D54:24A4:AEE8 (talk) 02:35, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

Validity of the election[edit]

Trump has tried delaying the election and has 'messed around' with the postal system so votes are likely to be rendered invalid.

There are 'birtherism mark 2' claims.

Who wins, appears to depend solely upon the voting patterns in certain very small areas.

Is there any way in which the vote will be considered to be valid? Anna Livia (talk) 22:26, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

For future reference[edit]

On the 2016 article we have a sort of "summation" in the repudiation section, describing some reasons for its outcome. Will we do a similar thing here a few months from now?-Flandres (talk) 02:51, 28 August 2020 (UTC)

Election dispute[edit]

Will the dispute over the 2020 election result be 'solved' by the time of the 2028 election campaign? (Not a mistyping.) Anna Livia (talk) 12:11, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

I now believe you're psychic. --Scherben (talk) 23:45, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
More - going by what DT said previously. Anna Livia (talk) 00:15, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
I refuse to bow to the tyranny of rationalism: You're psychic. --Scherben (talk) 18:47, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
It is not yet 2028.
Will the Electoral College still be in existence in 2028 - and what should take its place - some version of the Eurovision Song Contest voting system? Anna Livia (talk) 19:32, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

And the winner is...[edit]

'We wuz robbed!!!!!!!!!' Anna Livia (talk) 09:25, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

Can anything more be said? Anna Livia (talk) 00:18, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

What happens[edit]

If DT refuses to leave the White House?

Do a Christo-wrap of the building and turn it into a Trump-centred version of the Truman Show? Anna Livia (talk) 17:33, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

Where would Conspiracy theories on the Election go?[edit]

Hi! This is my first edit on RationalWiki, even though I've been using it for quite a while. I wanted to know where conspiracy theories that gang raped social media occurring right after the election would go in this wiki. I have some things I wanted to talk about in a section. Where would be a good place to put each of these subjects?

Dead Man's Votes -- "I have awoken from my eternal slumber to feast on the brains of the living. And to vote for Joe Biden" Operation Hammer and Scorecard -- "My computer can hack into the government and change votes as they're counted. What can yours do?" Ballots coming in after 8pm -- "Sorry, I can't grade the assignments after the due date." -Some jerkass teacher out there. Mail-in Voting -- "Help! People care about their health and safety!" Trump's Election Denial -- When you can't win by reason, go for volume. Trump Election War Room -- Of course people just took it as a chance to send furry porn to the White House!

Do you know where any of these would go? Thanks, Laser Bread (talk) 19:23, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Away with the fairies[edit]

Where would this go? Anna Livia (talk) 14:09, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Conspiracy I've found[edit]

Hey, two Trump supporting friends of mine are saying the elections were rigged because in one of the states: 1. Republican observer was not allowed in despite democratic one being present 2. The windows were covered by cardboard to prevent people from looking inside 3. Several thousand votes for Biden popped out of nowhere there. My answer to that was that these were the mail-in votes. I heard they need to be counted in secrecy, and the reason they were all for Biden is because Trump told his supporters not to vote via mail-in. Came here hoping to find more ammo for the discussions, but doesn't seem like that point was even mentioned here... Does anyone know what I 'm talking about? 2A02:C7F:B416:3500:9544:88F4:EF:A98C (talk) 09:40, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Greens & Libertarians[edit]

Why weren't the candidates for the Greens & Libertarians not added? Other election pages had them. Arcadium Trancefer (talk) 13:08, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
