Actually, there was a recent instance of agent provocateurs being uncovered in Canada, during the recent "Three Amigos" conference not far from here. A group of policemen infiltrated the protests and attempted unsuccessfully to escalate things, but were caught on video doing it. --Kels 14:18, 23 September 2007 (EDT)

Why isn't this under plausible conspiracy theories? There were already cases of it happening, and it's exactly what I'd do if I were trying to harm some ideological group... less to actually make the group do something illegal, but rather to make internal trust impossible.
