So?[edit]

So what the flippin' blink is this page doing here? This isn't Dictatorpedia. Spud (talk) 16:12, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

Current "policy" is that we only cover historical politicians if they have some bearing on the Present. Does Chun's legacy cast a shadow over current SK affairs? Is his name thrown about carelessly in poitical arguments? The article would have to cover that, because otherwise it's just a history stub. Sophie WilderModerator 16:17, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
Sorry. I thought this article can be expanded to satisfy RationalWiki's purpose 3. About his influence to current SK affairs, his regime, as well as Park's regime, is still being justified among Korean wingnuts who are currently trying to glorify his presidency in school textbooks, but I couldn't articulate that matter well. Maybe I should've written about Park. Noop (talk) 00:29, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
Oh please put that stuff in, even if it's just a bullet list of names and quotes. SophieWilderModerator 20:57, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
I de-orphaned it, but I agree with Sophie that some contemporary relevance should be demonstrated if we're going to keep it. Wehpudicabok [話] [変] [留] 05:23, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
Keep, as it is an example of authoritarianism ROPChain (talk) 22:12, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
