the absurd smearing of the clown world symbol as alt-right, and all the unfounded assumptions, such as that Clowns is a euphemism for Jews, shows that this article was definitely made in clown world.— Unsigned, by: 100.16.166.109 / talk

The urban dictionary votes show what people mean when they say clown world. It means something is so ridiculous you can only laugh at it. This article was clearly written by a raging faggot who wants to redefine any language he perceives as right-wing into some hate symbol. Of course, this site is filled with rage-addicted faggots always looking for their next fix. So good luck with that. — Unsigned, by: 63.155.106.201 / talk 08:58, 29 May 2021 (UTC)

Does not meet the standards wikipedia[edit]
Most of the references used in this article are of a dubious nature and do not count as being valid sources. Nearly all other articles with such tenuous references are taken down. Why not this article? — Unsigned, by: 81.107.234.58 / talk

Lol this is not just a neo nazi or alt right meme. I suspect that like other memes (e.g. "Chad) it will go from alt right codeword to screened as acceptable in appropriate circumstances, to reddit and social media meme. In this case I could even foresee slate magazine, for example, mentioning clown world over Republicans getting a big advantage over Democrats or w/e 86.139.229.85 (talk) 00:02, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- Well, it's basically a /pol/ meme, and not much more. So the best you can say is that it's shitposting, and the worst thing about lolracist shitposts is sometimes the shitposter really means it. The spread of this on the Internet seems to have been limited, as 4chan's power for spreading memes seems to be fading these days (it's a Tiktok world now, and 4Chan seems far away from the place that brought you Rickrolling and bronies back in the day). For instance, by the time this clown got to Reddit, Reddit was cracking down on /pol/ style shitposting, so r/Honkler was banned pretty quickly in 2019 for
being Nazipromoting violence. No one in the outside world uses the name "Chad" as the Internet incel/red-pill communities do. PanGalacticGargleBlaster (talk) 00:31, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
This article pleasured me[edit]
Initially I wanted to comment on some things that I disagreed with, but once I finished reading the article I came to the conclusion that this is clearly the best depiction of what clown world really means, that I have ever stumbled upon. It opened my eyes. I had a decent understanding of the meaning before, at least I thought so, but this article really boils it down to the prototype of what it's supposed to mean. Thank you for that. It resulted in great pleasure for me. 2003:E7:B721:7D00:1898:1873:88F4:AD4D (talk) 21:10, 1 December 2021 (UTC)
This was originally just a cynical-humorous meme[edit]
Basically like "what comes after a black pill, just laugh at the surrealism". It was a lot more of an interesting idea before some culture warriors decided to turn it into a nazi meme. This hasn't been well documented, as far as I know, but I can attest this meme didn't even originate on 4chan despite the coverage of it (well, maybe the Pepe variant did although it could've come from Twitch, but more broadly the terminology didn't). Like, on goon-descended twitter (read: "weird twitter") there would be occasional calls of "clown world" or similar (like "hell world"). 4chan just snagged it...
