2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Oh man, now I know I have to see this movie! And here I was just hoping to watch Mal Cobb be smart and stuff. Wehpudicabok (talk) 07:37, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

OK, just for the record, it's a wonderfully pro-science movie just like this article says, but what the article doesn't say is HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE SCARIEST FUCKING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. Wehpudicabok (talk) 04:29, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

It is a fairly good movie and very realistic. The CDC and National Institutes of Health praised this movie for being scientifically accurate. I recommend it. --Rationalzombie94 (talk) 16:19, 2 August 2014 (UTC)

It doesn't end with Jude Law's character 'ranting' at anyone, though. He's just calmly filming them for a blog post, knowing that he has enough gullible followers to keep him going. It'd be nice if he was utterly discredited at the end, but he the implication is that he's gotten away with it, and will keep doing what he's doing. 51.171.14.16 (talk) 13:17, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
