Daily Mail[edit]

@Gospatric This page relies too heavily on the unreliable Daily Mail. Can someone dig up either replacement or corroborating references for these citations? Bongolian (talk) 19:32, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

Is a piece Murray himself wrote in the Daily Mail not a reliable source? And surely the Mail is a reliable source on the topic of what the Mail says? I don't want to revert any of your changes without a debate but is there anything specific you have an issue with or do you just not want to link to the Mail at all? --Gospatric (talk) 09:56, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
@Gospatric Yes, if Murray wrote it himself, that's fine. Bongolian (talk) 17:00, 19 March 2018 (UTC)

Misleading section heading[edit]

It's misleading to have a section heading called "Antisemitism" that doesn't actually label him as antisemitic. CowHouse (talk) 04:03, 17 March 2018 (UTC)

He has been accused more than once of antisemitism or supporting antisemites, and he has written about antisemitism on several occasions as a result of this. Would you suggest adding a question mark or scare quotes or some other distancing device? I think it could be argued either way about whether or not he is antisemitic, and people are accused of antisemitism on RW based on less. --Gospatric (talk) 10:07, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
When I made the above comment, the page looked like this. The section heading was "Antisemitism" and this was at the end of the section:

As mentioned above, Jake Wallis Simons of the Daily Mail eventually accepted that he wasn't an anti-semite. Murray's writing is referenced by some unpleasant and anti-semitic people, and he is certainly a fierce critic of Israel, but it's less certain that this crosses over into outright antisemitism.

My point wasn't to say whether or not he's anti-Semitic, but that it didn't make sense to have that section heading along with that paragraph. CowHouse (talk) 07:58, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
