2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Little unclear[edit]

Little unclear exactly what Ham actually did to him, really. But that's the OT God for you. He's harsh, but he's harsh. --Kels 10:21, 18 May 2008 (EDT)

Is there any way to stop the fun template obscuring the Bible quote. Angband 10:48, 18 May 2008 (EDT)

Funny[edit]

"Funny" is subjective, as you well know, Human. If it were possible to remove material purely by referring to your own sense of humour this wiki would fall apart. New3.pngPink(Pinklink) 04:16, 6 October 2008 (EDT)

But it's a crappy joke, since ham is a really good luncheon meat. It ain't exactly baloney or spam. I will fight to the death on this, having eaten ham and cheddar subs, home-made, for many years as a manual laborer. Not bad food, very yummy. Bad joke, very silly. ħumanUser talk:Human 04:19, 6 October 2008 (EDT)
I hate ham, and I shall destroy you. New3.pngPink(With my death ray) 04:22, 6 October 2008 (EDT)
Pinkie, are you a Sockie of Radioactive afikomen? Proxima Centauri 04:27, 6 October 2008 (EDT)
I don't think she is, but they have a nice little thing going on. It's really cute, in its own way, although she is much more independent of it than he is. ħumanUser talk:Human 04:29, 6 October 2008 (EDT)

Nothing new under the sun[edit]

Such as, for example, say, genocide. Didn't the Israelites exterminate the Canaanites, or at least try to, as part of consolidating their occupation of some corner of the Mediterranean or other? Seems like cursing your opponents into slavery makes such a process easier to sell to the mass of citizenry, or easier to soothe their lingering doubts about it...
