Differences[edit]
What is the difference between definitions of 'emotional intelligence' and 'empathy'? Anna Livia (talk) 18:03, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- Maybe the difference between cognitive and social empathy or something? Sociopaths can objectively know what another person is feeling, and recognize the signs, but not be able to share in that feeling. Autistic people have a problem with recognizing emotions in others, but feel those emotions very strongly anyway. Carthage (talk) 02:15, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
