My name under the "Goat" vote?
Got an alert and checked that there is now a vote for splitting the balance fallacy. But you pinged my name under the "Goat" vote? Why? Sorry if this is an annoying question, I'm just new to the system. PLMMJ (talk) 19:00, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
Do you remember...
The talk we had in the SB about immigration back in November?
I mentioned 'ghettoised ethnic groups who act like the rules the rest of us follow don't apply to them' and your reply was basically, wtf?
Well, RL happened so I never replied to that - but today's antics of Musky reminded me. I was referencing such events as the 'Rotherham child sexual exploitation scandal' which alas, was not the only ring found either involving Muslim men of Pakistani decent and Musk and Farage is currently going on about. Fascism
Not everybody we don't like is a fascist. Calling someone a fascist when the actual article doesn't even use the word "fascism" or "fascist" is ridiculous. I don't care if someone is a Holocaust denier or whatever. Fascism is an actual political ideology with actual components identifying it. Being an antisemite doesn't make someone a fascist. - Fascism is a political ideology, yes. Given the totality of Kaitlin Bennett and Baked Alaska's political views, calling those views "fascist" is not unreasonable. The word itself not appearing in the article is irrelevant when plenty of synonyms for specific flavors of fascism do exist in those articles. For example, Baked Alaska's article literally calls him alt-right. You know what a synonym for the alt-right is? Fascist. You could argue the "fascist" category is redundant when we already have the "alt-right" category for these people, but to pretend they aren't fascist when they quite obviously are is unreasonable. Carthage (talk) 20:13, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
- I dispute Baked Alaska. He's a racist antisemite, but so were most of the people in Western Europe during WWII. If there's anything else making him out to be an outright fascist, then I need to have it pointed out to me.

dictatormoderator 20:23, 2 February 2025 (UTC)- He literally marched with Swastika-carrying Neo-Nazis at Charlottesville, for one. He's explicitly a member of the alt-right, for two. I honestly don't understand what you're getting at here. If it walks like a Nazi, and talks like a Nazi, it's a Nazi. Carthage (talk) 20:28, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
- I'll edit the article to make it clearer that the label is justified then.

dictatormoderator 20:34, 2 February 2025 (UTC)- I do agree that the fascist label is over-used, but just to make clear the reason I reverted some of your edits is because you removed the label from articles about actual fascists, and to me personally the articles do a good job of spelling that out. I guess YMMV. Carthage (talk) 20:40, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was a little overzealous. I still intend to prune articles from the fascism category, but I'll be more careful about it.

Hi, I changed the admin-only protection to expire in an hour. I think the previous level of autoconfirmed-only is more appropriate. I'll keep an eye out for trouble and change it back if needed. Insanity (talk) 21:58, 11 February 2025 (UTC)

Hi there,
If you can consider my request here —𝕶𝕾𝕳 🐅 10:01, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
Sorry for saying this too late but
I believed that the article about Witchcraft could be on the Pseudoscience category because Psychoanalysis is on the Pseudoscience despite that the article about it on Wikipedia is not on the Pseudoscience category and because witchcraft is not scientifically supported as I do not know any genuine scientific publications that support it. I also started to lose my hatred towards witches because of me becoming more critical of Scientology. MadPunisher36 (talk) 19:49, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
