2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Note on categories[edit]

It's always wrong when a topic falls under both "religion" and "politics". Personal note by instigator: I would prefer that NOMA was between politics and religion, not science and religion. Science can hold its own. Politics can get ugly - and stupid.

Bush[edit]

It's my impression that the FBCI builds and expands on the Charitable Choice legislation introduced by Bill Clinton in 1996 (?), so I don't think that saying it was Bush's political idea is entirely correct.

Also, maybe cut down on the PZMyers-esque polemics vs. Obama a bit? The man spend years working with FBO's in the slums of Chicago, so it's not entirely unreasonable to expect him to have a positive view of them - or maybe even a better understanding of them than most of us. --AKjeldsenCum dissensie 06:50, 14 November 2008 (EST)
