Millennialism[edit]
What is Christian Fundamentalism?? says Christian fundamentalists are likely to be Millennialists. Should that be in the article? Proxima Centauri (talk) 18:20, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
- If you do it right, it probably should be. But you need to be clear what millennialism is, how they adapted it, and what they are doing now that TWO millennium have passed. Most Fundimentalists talk now about the "Signs of the End times", and the fulfillment of prophecy, but it's hard to talk 1000 year reigns when 1000s of years have passed, so the language shifts. If you expain all that or say the *were* strong millialists, and then shop how they had to say "oops", it would be a good/important addition. Godotoi, putain, genial, merci 18:28, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
- Hell, it might even be worth its own section, since it's provable woo. 1999 millions are screaming about the Coming of Jesus, based on millennial ism, and then they have to have some way to rationalize that it never came. Godotoi, putain, genial, merci 18:30, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
