2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Jon Stryker[edit]

I'm not surprised by that sloppiness on the part of the Times of Israel. One of their bloggers, here, incorrectly calls the Koch family Jewish. They're German, and the family name "Koch" means "cook", as in "chef", in German. Chillpilled (talk) 20:36, 13 March 2023 (UTC)

The difference is that the "Jewish donors" article is from 2012. Stryker has had 11 years to have his lawyers contact the Times of Israel to issue a correction. That, in and of itself, obviously isn't proof. But the best we can do in the apparent absence of any declaration of identity from Stryker himself is to report what secondary sources say.
