Major job[edit]

Ok, well, this page needs some work. I've got some free time coming up, anyone wanna help? Pascal yuiop (talk) 16:51, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

Depraved money grabbing sex pests high on coke[edit]

Or maybe not. But anyway I feel I should make some effort to point out that there are these real bollockings sone every so often by the press/public/other party... There is no shortage of hit pieces in the trash papers so of course to keep it PG these are not cited. I don't mind any major improvements/rewrite. — Dysk (contribs) 20:05, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

Also there needs to be a section about the politics of the house, rough breakdown of the party spread, some notes on how PM's try to stuff the house with new members to bump up their party, etc.. "House of Lords - the political bit". — Dysk (contribs) 20:08, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

Personally I think discussing the (hilarious) scandals of the House of Lords isn't worth our time, except from the angle that British aristocracy and classism enables such practices. Discussion of the politics is absolutely necessary for the article, and we definitely need more sources here. RoninMacbeth (talk) 23:40, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
Ha ha, I'd forgotten about that coke snorting Lord from a couple of years ago. To be honest we could probably write an entire sub page on all the scandals involving the Honourable Lords! --RWRW (talk) 17:36, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
I'm also tempted to right a section on the criticisms and calls to reform the Lords, would this be considered missional? --RWRW (talk) 17:44, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
I think reform could be quite relevant, especially if it could be somehow explained in context to the reforms that have already happened, notably the Parliament Act 1911 and House of Lords Act 1999. — Dysk (contribs) 18:41, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
