I hope you're safe and not in the path of the fire too :)-DiamondDisc1|1csiDdnomaiD (talk) 23:41, 9 October 2017 (UTC)

@DiamondDisc1: I'm safe. The fire could still hit my house, but probably not for a few hours. If the winds are favorable, things might be OK. I have friends who lost almost everything though... RoninMacbeth (talk) 00:18, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
Which fire, there were two fires: one in Northern California and one in Anaheim Hills in Orange County. Thankfully, both were too far away to have an impact, and the Anaheim Hills one turned the sky orange. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario!(Mod) 00:24, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
@LeftyGreenMario: Northern California. RoninMacbeth (talk) 00:25, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
Yah, that's a pretty bad fire. It really sucks that one person died, though... this is the worst fire in a while, isn't it? --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario!(Mod) 00:27, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, possibly worse than the Oakland Hills fire. Not to mention that the new death toll is at least seven, some reports of ten. RoninMacbeth (talk) 00:37, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
It was quite windy, they're not putting this out anytime soon.-DiamondDisc1|1csiDdnomaiD (talk) 03:28, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
Police reports seem to indicate that it's mostly calm where I live. Hoping it goes better in other areas. RoninMacbeth (talk) 03:38, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
@DiamondDisc1: And to top it off, apparently there was a small earthquake about an hour ago. It's the c*m frosting on the s**t cake. RoninMacbeth (talk) 03:49, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

Patrolling whitewashing[edit]

Unless you planned to undo it, you did patrol a small act of whitewashing. If in doubt, don't patrol it. Christopher (talk) 17:11, 1 November 2017 (UTC)

@Christopher Sorry. I was a little on the fence, patrolled intending to undo, then decided to just let someone else take a look. Forgetting that I had just patrolled it. I'm kind of switching between this and an Economics assignment, so I'm a little distracted right now. RoninMacbeth (talk) 17:35, 1 November 2017 (UTC)

See, here's the interesting thing: Every time I actively try to LANCB I get pulled back, somehow. However, if I just sort of let things happen then I can focus on other things, which is what has been happening. You'll notice my contributions here of late have been few and far between. I intend to take a break from RWW for the time being. If you need my help with anything, don't hesitate to call me. RoninMacbeth (talk) 17:10, 10 November 2017 (UTC)

You've been nominated as moderator[edit]

You've been nominated in the upcoming moderator elections. See the nomination at RationalWiki:Moderator elections/Nominations. Bongolian (talk) 00:08, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

@BongolianGiven the relatively low amount of accepted nominations so far, I'll keep my nomination open. In all likeliness, though, I'll decline, because I'm probably one of the worst choices for mod. I'm too permaban-happy, I'm flighty, and I tend to appear and reappear irregularly. I'll only run if there are fewer than 9 acceptances by the time noms close. Thanks for the notice though, and good luck with the campaign. RoninMacbeth (talk) 00:30, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
@Bongolian Side note, you might want to put the election over the intercom. RoninMacbeth (talk) 00:40, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

Re:J. Zoia[edit]

To be honest, no. But something struck me as off to be recklessly nominating a bunch of users for the role, even inactive ones for the role, despite that there's no rule specifically against it, I thought it would be more of a...common sense thing to not do. Pair it with some questionable edits prior to that (to even merit concern from other users, see the first section led me to use my judgement to stop it. If there's a larger consensus disagreeing with my actions, I would unban J. Zoia, though. БaбyЛuigiOнФire(T|C)

Talking about potential alt accounts, especially if you have evidence to at least support your suspicions, is not doxxing. That's a heads up. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario!(Mod) 02:59, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
@LeftyGreenMario @CheeseburgerFace: I simply noticed the frequent use of references to cheerleading and "being the prettiest woman," both of which are common calling cards of Grawp-style trolls. Given that J. Zoia hasn't actually done anything yet, I'm probably wrong. RoninMacbeth (talk) 03:02, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
I've noticed so myself, but I've already tried my best explaining the user what's going on, assuming the off-chance that J. Zoia / It's Jenn isn't some strange Grawpish troll who put up more effort to disguise and is actually a cheerleader who does actually talk like a valley girl stereotype. I think you have every right to be suspicious, just as long as you don't long-jump from that platform of doubt. Which you didn't, so yeah. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario!(Mod) 03:37, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
Oh, and another comment, @CheeseburgerFace, you really need to understand what doxxing is because this is at least the second time you misunderstood it. No, I wasn't trying to dig your history up, I just was rummaging through Chicken coop archives for curiosity's sake. Again, doxxing is NOT discussing about potential alt accounts. It would be doxxing if any sensitive personal information is revealed without consent including last name, email addresses, home address, your I.P. number, your phone number, your social security, your birthdate, and so on. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario!(Mod) 03:41, 1 January 2018 (UTC)

Hey there[edit]

I cannot understand how something can make you reexamine your views without altering them at all. There would have to be at least some bit of altering. My view, that namely a Nazi victory would be better for humanity in the long run compared to what historical trends visible today say about our future, is secondary, and based on my primary view that the 21st century will turn out to be the most tragic and shocking era in human history and that, furthermore, this catastrophe awaiting humanity around the corner will make the tumultuous 20th history seem like a joke. It is this "prophecy" so to speak that I base all other speculation on. A total German victory over the Eurasian and American titans (which is beyond the realm of possibility without nuclear weapons) would have prevented the industrialization of the Chinese mammoth, who I expect to be a chief cause of unrest in our age. Sooner or later however, the slave-owning superstate would have broken off into many states as the Germans sent colonies all around. I don't believe that strict racial policies would have remained in place for very long. Since slaves would be so instrumental to society, at some point master and slave would mingle. This happened to all slave owning societies known to history even though the respective masters didn't think of themselves any less highly than the Nazis did. Here's a telling example.

After Alexander, the Hellenic people sent colonies all around the Mediterranean and much of the Middle East, Egypt and Modern Sudan. They had a high idea of themselves, believing they were intrinsically, even biologically superior (an attitude visible in Aristotle's writings) and frowned upon mingling with people of other races. And yet, not only did they fail to remain pure, they failed to survive at all. In the areas they once lived, Arabic, Turkish or Persian is spoken today and even in Greece itself, where a heavily mixed version of the Byzantine language survives, the people are nothing more than the devilish sire of barbarian killers from Eurasia on one hand and Byzantine settlers from Anatolia, North Africa, Persia and the Caucasus on the other. Those simply adopted the Byzantine language and Christianity but the original Hellenic nation was thoroughly extinguished, punished for its hubris. It is very likely, and for me certain, that Alexander was in fact murdered because he insisted that subject nations be treated the same as the invaders. The ultimate historical result of this fatal decision, visible today, is that no traces of Hellenic presence remain throughout the conquered realm. It is as if history ejected this great nation out of existence. The Germans were destined to be the Hellenes of modernity. To experience an enormous but short-lasting prestige, to deliver great cultural and technological achievements, and to fall apart quickly thereafter becoming forever politically subordinate. I believe that the Nazi superstate would in the long run have faced a fate they didn't expect, an Alexandrian fate. History has its way of stripping someone of all the glory it gives him. Gewgtweg (talk) 18:25, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

Another example is in Latin America, where Iberian Caucasians, Native Americans, and imported African slaves intermarried (or at least had children), explaining Latin America's very diverse population. As for the reexamination without alteration of my beliefs, well, it's possible because it made me think about what you said, but ultimately I found myself rejecting your premise. It is likely that most, if not all, of the ethnic groups the Germans had slated for extinction would have been effectively destroyed, either through concentration camps or through "Germanization." They had the means and motive for eventual extermination. Second, even if the PRC had not existed, a Japanese victory might have led to increased industrialization and enslavement of China and the Chinese population, essentially turning China into a Japanese industrial colony similar to pre-War North Korea. Not to mention that the Germans were well-aware of the failures of both Macedon and Rome. Sure, Alexander might have wanted to subjugate non-Hellenic peoples, but he lived in an ancient society that had no intention of active destruction of non-Hellenic peoples, unlike the Third Reich. RoninMacbeth (talk) 19:44, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
Though I admit I am sympathetic to your "primary premise," that the 21st Century will be tragic. I just disagree with the second, that an Axis victory would avert this. That's why I have focused so much on the latter, because I see no reason to debate something I already accept. RoninMacbeth (talk) 23:57, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

Ah. Perhaps I should clarify that I don't know much about autism itself. I can, however, speak to my personal experience as a person on the spectrum, and to a lesser extent to the experience of my cousins.
Sympathy is always important. Berating a person for saying something stupid is not going to help that much. That probably means Google should have been more nuanced in handling his case. But then again, Damore was an adult, and one could make the case that he should have known better.
Usually try and take what Damore says at face value. If he says he thinks the title of Grand Wizard sounds cool, it is because he thinks it sounds cool, not necessarily because he's a racist. That's my view.
Is Damore in the wrong? Yes, the memo is repugnant. Did he say some stupid shit? Definitely. But at the same time, he probably didn't realize it would be offensive, and if he had, he might not have sent the memo or said the KKK thing. That's what I got. RoninMacbeth (talk) 19:50, 28 May 2018 (UTC)
Thanks. And of course I don't think you're a psychiatrist either but I do think you can offer a perspective on it. I don't think autism is all about being mean.
I would assume "Grand Wizard" sounds cool in of itself but he doesn't seem really committed to redacting that when called out, if I recall correctly. When I do think about it, I do think about it at face value but it's kind of hard to take this at face value when he's attracting a bad crowd who is more unapologetic about it. I think he may not realize it at first, but he doubled down and isn't committed to distancing himself from that crowd, which is a warning to me. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario!(Mod) 20:00, 28 May 2018 (UTC)

"Post Board Minutes on the Saloon or Other Visible Page"[edit]

I have a plan to write up a fancy new site for the RMF, after all this crap I have to take care of in the present is finally resolved. Whether that will make the site used more is still up to the actual board members writing stuff, but who knows. I am definitely interested in helping the RMF move away from being constrained to wiki software and implementing some other tools. —Kazitor Kazitor sig pic.png 23:18, 15 August 2018 (UTC)

That's all well and good, but even after that I hope posting minutes here will be a good idea. Until we get other online communities together, the Wiki will be where all voters and members come from. I do like the idea of another site, though. What would we write about there? RoninMacbeth (talk) 23:32, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
Apologies if I was unclear, I meant giving the existing site a complete makeover (WordPress? yuck). If done properly, the wiki could possibly pull updates from there. I think integrating things together would be really good; in the end it would be nice if someone could have a single user account which lets them do actual wiki stuff here, do WIGOs with a non-wiki interface elsewhere, etc. and have all this stuff collected on one site. —Kazitor Kazitor sig pic.png 23:42, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
  • clicks on link* Fuck, that's old. I also did wonder if we should expand content a bit. I mean, RussianalWiki is dead, EvoWiki is gone, the blogs are Odin knows where, and we'll, that leaves RationalWiki. That's it. I was kind of tossing an idea around. Maybe (please don't laugh)... RatCast? A Rational Podcast? RoninMacbeth (talk) 23:49, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
It appears our intentions align nicely :) Not surprised you weren't aware of the site, perhaps with a redo it would be worth promoting more. Podcast could use a different name, but if there are people willing to do it (and enough content to justify it) then it's a fine idea. A good example of content that, despite being possible, does not suit the wiki format. —Kazitor Kazitor sig pic.png 23:57, 15 August 2018 (UTC)

Not to get in some stupid edit-war with you, but I think my last edit was justified. However, if you feel that strongly, I won't revert. Thanks. - Notaliberalnosrs (talk) 18:23, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Alright. I don't feel strongly, but why do you feel your edit was justified? RoninMacbeth (talk) 18:28, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
If in the unlikely event some dude named Moses lived in Ancient Egypt then he probably would have lived by their laws which would have prohibited murder. That's my feeling anyhow. - Notaliberalnosrs (talk) 23:57, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
@Notaliberalnosrs Murder is sort of a universal no-no, in that it doesn't really change between cultures all that much. In addition the comment is in response to several forms of Biblical literalism, which claim that murder is wrong because God says so in the Ten Commandments (Except it doesn't actually say that, but then again Fundies aren't really known for their reading skills), and that morality can only come from God. (Why is it always God with the big G? Why not god with a little g, or Cthulhu?) ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 00:03, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
Actually kinda my point. I believe the original comment had to do with no 10 commandments. You just actually filled in the blanks there lol. - Notaliberalnosrs (talk) 00:45, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
@Notaliberalnosrs"I believe the original comment had to do with no 10 commandments." Are trying to say that the original comment didn't involve referencing "the Ten Commandments"? Or that it did but it referenced the specific Ten? ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 02:59, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
I'm not 100% what we're fighting about at this point lol. If my opinion on some 2,500 thousand year old book was wrong, I'm going to touch gloves and tap out ;) - Notaliberalnosrs (talk) 04:43, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure murder would've been a clear no-no since the days of Cain and Abel. That God handed out 10 commandments at one point doesn't mean everything before that point was a blank slate. (talk) 19:40, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

Being less confrontational(cont)[edit]

Maybe. My experience says no. That if you start giving benefit of the doubt once intellectual dishonesty rears its head, you get dragged into a mire of weeds where you find yourself arguing a pedantic counterpoint on a minor supporting point on your tenth reply to the person. And your main point has still not been addressed along the way. And if you go "Can you please address -the main point-" you get a pedantic argument about some sentence you say in that post. It's an experience I've replicated enough that feel cutting through the bullshit and making it an actual fight goes better. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 19:21, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

That's a nice summary of most Internet arguments. (talk) 19:24, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
@Ikanreed Which raises another question; what exactly is the main point of yours and Nerd's argument, and how is he being intellectually dishonest about it? RoninMacbeth (talk) 19:25, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
Which argument? The one where they hat-muted people who said John McCain is someone we're better off without because it was offensive, then immediately accused me of not tolerating anything offensive? The one where they edit warred John McCain's article without discussing any of it on the talk page? The one where they edit warred the misandry article to make it seem like feminists want to kill all men, and only engaged in the talk page where they only talked about my tone in rejecting the dumbass change? I dunno, there's more and more. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 14:38, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
The second one. RoninMacbeth (talk) 14:40, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
I mean honestly, I just looked at the diff of changes they had made since he died, and just saw sourced statement after sourced statement burning up into the aether. And I guess also a bit of snark being converted to dry prose, but mostly the first thing. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 14:47, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
I'll run a comparison of how many sources your version had vs. how many Nerd's version has, just to give the mob a better idea of what the fuck is going on. RoninMacbeth (talk) 15:12, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
It's not really "my" version, as I've contributed nothing to it. But I guess I own it now. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 15:44, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
For the record, it looks like you have four more references than Nerd's version. RoninMacbeth (talk) 15:51, 28 August 2018 (UTC)

Coop cage[edit]

"If you want us to take action about JEC, then you should take this to the Coop cage proper" Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean. Did I post on the wrong page? -Lankaster (talk) 17:29, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

It's a little weird. For Coop cases, you post on RationalWiki:Chicken coop, not RationalWiki talk:Chicken coop. Yeah, it's confusing, don't question it. RoninMacbeth (talk) 17:38, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
Perhaps giving the page a joke name wasn't such a great idea after all... Avida Dollarsher again 17:41, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
No, the bad idea was more the inconsistency with disciplinary project pages. I suspect that Lankaster's confusion arises from the fact that ATIM uses the talkpage for discussion, while the Coop uses the Project page.
Also, is that you Sophie? RoninMacbeth (talk) 17:44, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

It's for his own good, Ronin.

He needs to be spared seeing "fucking" on talk pages. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 18:17, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

No, he doesn't. If Ariel wants to be prudish, let him. RoninMacbeth (talk) 18:23, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
What? No. He needs to be protected. He's too delicate and precious to continue be on this wiki. It's not safe for him. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 18:27, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
Do you really believe that? RoninMacbeth (talk) 18:29, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
Since we seem to be teetering on the edge of parody: no, not at all. I'm just sick of his bullshit. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 18:31, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
That's what I thought. Think of it like this: is it possible that blocking him will make anything better? Or is it just anger at what you see as intransigence with no way to solve it? RoninMacbeth (talk) 18:35, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
I mean, honestly, it was a "fun" way to solve an insincere complaint. But the second block was anger at that absolute fucker calling any other person in the history of the world a sophist. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 18:40, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
Would you mind explaining to me what it is, exactly, you two are arguing about on Laci Green? Before I just write it off as yet another theater in the Grand Ariel vs. Ikanreed Pissing Contest? I'd really rather solve the problem, if it would just get the two of you to stop for even a second. RoninMacbeth (talk) 18:42, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
Contentwise, it was literally just the word "some" to make "dislikes liberals" into "dislikes some liberals". He wanted to add pointless ambiguity. I supplied the citation in the talk page to show that "dislikes liberals" is a position she's explicitly 100% backed, with one of her many alt-right buddies. The rest of it was him arguing about arguing. And general shittiness. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 19:04, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
...Wow. Here I was expecting something like the Linda Sarsour thing between Lankaster and James. But this... I mean, on the one hand, I'm inclined to agree with you on the content for now. But on the You and Ariel have REALLY lost perspective on this.
Still waiting for Ariel to state his case, BTW. RoninMacbeth (talk) 19:11, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

RoninMacbeth: My comments of today are meant to respond to the discourteous and overblown criticism of ikanreed. I don't care that much about the fucking edit. It was his hostility I was reponding to. Were I to complain about blue language it would refer only to ikanreed's attacks on newer users. I don't give a fuck what he says about me. I am telling him what I really think of him because he seems to want to know: when it comes to ethics, he is a fucking ethical nightmare. He doesn't have to apologize to me for any rotten, fucking nasty shit he has spouted. To get along with me, he just has to stop being a total asshole to new users. That being said, and since I support you as a moderator, I will consider your recommendations. Ariel31459 (talk) 19:22, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

Well, thank you. RoninMacbeth (talk) 19:30, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
But also making shit up. You can look at my interactions with new users. This is a pretty verifiable falsehood. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 19:40, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
If that is so, then we don't have a problem, you idiot.Ariel31459 (talk) 19:49, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
Yes, of course, "we" don't have a problem with you making shit up. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 17:28, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
If that's so, why complain? You idiot?Ariel31459 (talk) 15:43, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

I saw you started the vote for your proposal ignoring the issue I raise about it. Could you please take it under your consideration? -Lankaster (talk) 15:23, 16 November 2018 (UTC)

Well, for starters, the whole point of this is that JEC can't just revert without a really, REALLY good reason. If he does, further steps will be taken against him.
Second, I don't know what else you want us to do. I'm trying to curb his tendencies to edit war with this proposal, and I did not see any alternative you propose. If you think the current proposal is ineffective, then please make a proposal of your own. RoninMacbeth (talk) 15:33, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
"the whole point of this is that JEC can't just revert without a really, REALLY good reason. If he does, further steps will be taken against him." Good, then I think it's the right solution. I didn't understand you meant it. Could you just make it explicit? Maybe writing it just after the subsection "RoninMacbeth's Proposal"? -Lankaster (talk) 15:47, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, sure. RoninMacbeth (talk) 15:53, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
I saw that you only copied what you had already written. Still, I meant making explicit the part about reversion, because I'm afraid that a reversion per se would not be considered edit warring, and so it would not be under the umbrella of your proposal. Of course you don't have to make it personal to James, same rules apply to me. Can you add something like: "In particular, nobody can't just revert without a really, REALLY good reason. If he does, further steps will be taken against him"? -Lankaster (talk) 16:20, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
Let me get to a computer. I've been editing mobile. RoninMacbeth (talk) 16:22, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
Actually, isn't it kind of already specific? The edit-warring part already basically covers your objections. Or is there something else? RoninMacbeth (talk) 16:39, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
"Actually, isn't it kind of already specific?" If one user makes an edit, then a second user makes a reversion, is that edit warring? I think many would say "no". They would say it's edit warring if the first user then revert the reversion. For this reason I wanted to make explicit that also reversions must be justified... -Lankaster (talk) 17:00, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
I think this should do well as a definition. RoninMacbeth (talk) 17:02, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
I read and I still think that without making explicit that reversion must be done with good reasons there is no improvement, actually it can make things worse for me: I make an edit, James reverts it with a motivation like "XYZ of all people", I cannot revert the reversion (otherwise I will be accused of edit warring) and I have to call moderators to get and approval of my edit. James gets no sanction (he was not edit warring) and he made editing more difficult. I think only adding something like: "In particular, nobody can't just revert without a really, REALLY good reason. If he does, further steps will be taken against him" will solve this situation. -Lankaster (talk) 17:12, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
If that happens, I will interfere. RoninMacbeth (talk) 17:21, 16 November 2018 (UTC)

Mod request[edit]

Earlier in the election cycle you urged me to accept a nomination in my name, I requested edits that prove I'm Mod material twice. Would you please elaborate? I ask because I wish to understand what led you toward your conclusion. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 19:52, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

To a large degree, it was based off the relative lack of other candidates at the time. But I also genuinely believe you are better at resolving issues than you give yourself credit for. RoninMacbeth (talk) 23:48, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

Unfortunately, as you can see, James doesn't want to come to any kind of agreement. I want also to point out that, as an evidence of his hostility, he just came to the talk page of Rationalization only to be against me, without giving any constructive contribute (I'm not going to answer to him on Rationalization, to avoid further discussions). I'm afraid that I'm bothering you, coming again on this problem, but I sincerely don't see a way in which I can continue to write on RW if this situation is not settled down and he keeps attacking me. -Lankaster (talk) 09:12, 24 November 2018 (UTC)

You won the coop case and I haven't edit warred with you since then. What exactly is your problem? I'm not playing into whatever game you started on Spud's talk page to try and make me look like an asshole when the change I made on the Farage page was approved, and I'm not going to mince words with you either about a change you proposed on the rationalization page when you gave no reason for it. Gaming, D&D , and Divinity 2[edit]

So I know you're somewhat of a fan of D&D, but I was wondering if you were into video games, and if so if you were interested in the Divinity series, more specifically Divinity 2. Can you say if you are? ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 02:48, 9 December 2018 (UTC)

@GrammarCommie: I did not know about the Divinity series, but I've recently gotten back into video games since I figured out how to install Linux alongside Chrome OS. I mostly play Crusader Kings 2 right now, but I'll probably try out Fallout 2 at some point. Do you recommend Divinity? RoninMacbeth (talk) 02:54, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
I've heard lots of good things about the Divinity 2, don't know much about the series as a whole though. I can say as a turn-based RPG that's caught my interest and is likely to be bought by me the moment it goes on sale again. As for a review, I can't say much for certain since I haven't played it yet but it seems to be based heavily off table-top RPGs, wherein it's true value seems to come out in multiplayer with a full party. And I love that concept, I really do. So... Tentatively recommend it? But on sale on steam or GOG if you're not 100% sure ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:11, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
Just updating this thread a bit, I got Divinity 2 today since it was 35% off on Steam. I still need to install it but I thought I'd let you know. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:45, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
