"he is only Irish because he was born in Northern Ireland"[edit]

Bit of a weird thing to write. It is his right to identify legally as Irish being from Northern Ireland and they are generally considered Irish. This line makes it look like we're trying to wash our hands of him as if Nordies aren't "real" Irish. Féinléiriú (talk) 21:36, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

Say what you like about brexiters...[edit]

Attack of the Haunted Pencil[edit]

Another prominent supporter of Ireland leaving the EU was posturing Regency undertaker Jacob Rees-Mogg, who advanced it as a solution to the issues surrounding post-Brexit borders. This notion unsurprisingly gained little traction among Irish folk who had observed from close to that Brexit was – as it indeed remains – an almighty fuck-up that solved absolutely nothing while creating myriad new problems for just about everyone except people like Rees-Mogg. Somerset Capital Management, the hedge fund he co-founded, opened a Dublin office in 2018, but I'm sure that was just a coincidence. Mr Larrington (talk) 21:58, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
