Mission issues[edit]

I think I can see where this is going (I'm not sure if it brings the lulz in a heug way however) but I wonder if it fits our mission. MtDPinko Scum 02:03, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

I can imagine it could get wikilinked here and there after getting filled out a little more. Religious history and pseudo-history toward the end of critically examining scripture is up our alley. Nutty Rouxnever mind 02:09, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

Yeah I think where you think you see where it's going was what I thought I saw where it was going (I think that makes sense...) with the whole St. John looking like a woman and Christianity thinking otherwise. I'm not an expert on scripture, or how prevalent the woman/St John debate is but I thought it might be worth starting this page. I can do more research into the whole thing and try to fit it in better with the RationalWiki mission if you want. Socal212 (talk) 02:38, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

I think it has potential, so I'm not ready to nix it yet. Aboriginal Noise Oh, what a lovely tea party! 16:40, 3 July 2011 (UTC)
I think it should stay because the last supper in the Bible is also on mission. I'm not Jesus (talk) 14:18, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Frescos don't hang[edit]

OK, so it's nigh on forty years since I saw it but a fresco is painted on plaster. In fact, as it was painted on dry plaster it's a mural, not a fresco. Whichever, it doesn't hang. Jack Hughes (talk) 15:23, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

zoroastrian[edit]

"while Mithraism and even Zoroastrianism have sacred meals that clearly parallel the Eucharist. " - i pulled that cause it was just stuck in somewhere. it may or may not be true, but it needs to be better placed than after paul's revelation under a section called "xinaity" or the bible or something.
