2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

But still wrong section[edit]

I do not think this information is particularly relevant. The first citation does include a third-party comparison that states that the two may share similar ideas now, but also includes a critique of Lomborg from Lynas, "These days I read his stuff with interest but I do think he could make his case more strongly by avoiding his own tendency to confirmation bias and being rather selective with his sources, to say the least." mirroring two of our own critiques of Lomborg on our RW article on him. In the second citation, he vaguely embraces the idea of geo-engineering to combat climate change, but doesn't mention Lomborg or his ideas whatsoever, so I cannot see how he is pushing his particular brand of woo. --NerdyWizard (talk) you believed that why? 19:54, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
