Talk:Matt Cahill
It's worth keeping a look out for this criminal, more is likely to emerge especially at his next trial. Proxima Centauri (talk) 13:58, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
I'm deleting this article this afternoon unless you put in cites to support each factual claim and improve the PZ Myers cite. PZ Myers is an embarrassment. You didn't see that he cited a newspaper because you don't actually read your sources, eh? I understand that the guy is presently being prosecuted for something. Nonetheless, you don't accuse someone of criminal misconduct unless your accusation accurately describes a conviction. Otherwise, it's "alleged" this or that. 14:18, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
He already spent 2 years in prison so he's a criminal. Proxima Centauri (talk) 18:02, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
My latest edit so far was was at 12:27, 27 July 2013. Nutty's was at 14:18, 27 July 2013. there are 3 references in my latest edit. What's Nutty's problem? Proxima Centauri (talk) 17:52, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- Nutty problems are many and complicated. Your problem is that you think some biologist's blog is a decent reference. PowderSmokeAndLeather: Say something once, why say it again?. 18:10, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- My problem with this is as I explained. So he spent 2 years in prison for one conviction. You must justify every other claim of unlawful conduct unless it's reduced to conviction. 18:51, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- there are 3 references in my latest edit. I didn't rely only on Myers, I included the newspaper article Myers referred to. Proxima Centauri (talk) 19:19, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

What the Weasel took out is referenced, see Sports supplement designer has history of risky products. Is Weasel edit warring for fun? Proxima Centauri (talk) 19:29, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- There you go accusing someone of "edit warring for fun" when the problem is you not wanting to change what you wrote. Give citations IN THE ARTICLE for criminal convictions, and do not call this man a criminal for other things that, so far, he hasn't been convicted of. SophieWilder 19:35, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- I reverted to this version, not to my version. I called him a criminal in this talk page and I feel the conviction and prison term he already had is sufficient for that. I haven't prejudged the trial that will take place later. Proxima Centauri (talk) 20:31, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
Basic article skills[edit]
If we (prox, please pay attention) are going to write an article about someone, we need to get better about saying specifics about 1) who they are, 2) why they matter, and 3) what the exact nature of the issue is. "selling herbal supplements" vs. selling body building supplements. Where is the guy from? US, UK, China? Who is using his products? How popular is he, est. Godot The ablity to breath is such an overrated ability 20:32, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- note - his old company, the one the FDA got him for, is designerlabs.com. Not sure i can find any products to go with that, but we'll see. — Unsigned, by: WaitingforGodot / talk / contribs (signed by bot) 21:15, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
