Claire Lehmann disapproves[edit]

Twitter thread about this page for anybody interested:

Claire Lehmann: Is anyone planning a class action to sue @RationalWiki's owner for libel? This description of the Guardian's Nick Cohen as a 'member of the international Jewish cabal' is beyond the pale. Just one of dozens of mendacious descriptions of high profile people https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Nick_Cohen. Should contextualise this a bit more: there's a whole bunch of academics written about on here who are described as "white nationalist" "eugenicist" etc, just because they study in areas such as behavioural genetics. I don't think it's intended to be satire.
DarkMatter2525: Full context: "who depending on your point of view is an Islamophobic neocon chickenhawk, a member of the international Jewish cabal, or a troll". Sorry, but this in particular would be laughed out of court. "Jewish cabal" links to anti-semitism on their page, btw, so it should be abundantly clear that what you're presenting out of context isn't their ACTUAL stance. I know sarcasm doesn't always translate in text, but this one is pretty obvious.
