Blip[edit]

I know the article Is just a blip,but It is a start. --Knightofjustice123 (talk) 01:54, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

Feel free to edit. --Knightofjustice123 (talk) 04:21, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
How about starting by editing out the laughably blatant leftist bias? But hey, this is rational wiki, right? That means it must be by definition “progressive,” despite the fact that the left are constantly calling traditional rationalism a mask of power politics. All we want to know is the vlogger's real name and thank-you for that. 174.1.36.152 (talk) 20:49, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

From todo[edit]

Tons of bullshit videos. Race realism [1][2] + race baiting [3][4][5][6][7]. Has some weird feud with a vegan bodybuilder [8][9][10][11][12][13]. Whining about gays [14] + trans people [15][16]. Anti-Muslim bigotry [17]. Hates on liberals [18][19][20][21]. Includes video "Alex Jones Destroys Megyn Kelly". Denues Russia collusion [22][23]. Twitter.

Another, minor lie[edit]

Brooks' LinkedIn page lists his education as "BS/BA" in "TV Production/Theatre". In the debate with Destiny, he said he got a "Bachelor's in science" in "Journalism and Communications":

This article has too many embedded youtube videos[edit]

I get that he's a youtuber and reactions from inside his own community are poignant, but, and this is a dumb complaint, it makes our article feel like an encyclopedia dramatica article. I'm gonna maybe remove a couple, though I'd like input on which ones, and maybe what text to add to our article to bolster the missing content. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 19:11, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Keep it down to one, maybe the first one, and pick some choice quotes from the others. Just a thought. Though there's a ton of quotes already, so maybe just zap some videos and try and write some prose, without adding quotes. Dunno. The only thing I feel certain on is that one video is enough to get an idea of his channel. — Dysk (contribs) 19:27, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
Just to be clear, you personally like the first one best? ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 21:11, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Livestream Gaffs[edit]

I think it should probably be noted in this article that while Brookes says plenty of stupid shit on his own channel when he is on script, he says a shitload of stupid shit when he's on livestreams. Here are a couple examples that should probably be noted in this article. There's probably more, but here's what I've found along with some time-stamped links:

  • When he once said that there is a strong argument for saying "Hitler did nothing wrong." https://youtu.be/af1M0gWQbPQ?t=526
  • When he once said that socialism is "a country of people that want to be really social." He then claims that he was joking and then, when asked to properly define it, he is very clearly Googled it and is reading the Googled definition allowed verbatim. https://youtu.be/af1M0gWQbPQ?t=687
