2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Move?[edit]

Alien big cat is the more usual term here.

Phantom cat suggests spectral cats, which is slightly different. A lot of ABC fans consider them flesh and bone. As pointed out in the article, some have been very real and actually captured.-Albannach (talk) 16:34, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

There are spectral cats [1] - and there is Kitten Kong. And there were probably a few cases of 'little kitten surprised me' becoming a great big beastie in the retelling, 'what would happen if the Tower lions and heraldic beasties escaped into the wild, and the other usual suspects. The domestic variety[edit]

Most pet cats have the capacity to 'be there' when they are not (and can trip you up as a result). Anna Livia (talk) 17:17, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
