- Thanks for the assist.
– Regards, Avarice 23:06, 27 May 2025 (UTC) - Those seem good on the networks and connections! The first has a few paragraphs which are too focused on US problems and don't ask "wait, other countries have better social services and less violence but lower birthrates than the USA, that is not consistent with my hypothesis about the reason for the falling birthrates." But its better than most mainstream journalism at drawing connections to crank and far-right networks.Polydamas (talk) 04:33, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
Contra[edit]
Africa's birth rates are dropping faster than expected. Chillpilled (talk) 04:42, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, I see a lot of people reporting population projections for the next 50 or 100 years, but in the past such projections were usually wildly wrong. (Poor countries like Nigeria or Afghanistan also have poor records of births and deaths, and aid workers asking women how many children they have has other problems). Population is a system with feedbacks not a child's math problem in compound interest.Polydamas (talk) 00:20, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
