2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

This is[edit]

This is rather good.   .  Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent 10:00, 14 March 2009 (EDT)

There are two reverts, supposedly by me. I do not know how the first of these was done. It is difficult for me to understand how I could have inadvertently done it. Is it possible that there is a security problem? TomS TDotO 12:27, 1 April 2009 (EDT)

wait... what?[edit]

... what?--il'Dictator Mikal (talk) 21:37, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

I've added the link to the good parody on creationism. Maybe, the prefix "fun:" is required. But anyway.--Mr. B 21:43, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
For this, yes, as right now it acts like this is completely serious. --il'Dictator Mikal (talk) 21:44, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

Funspace[edit]

I think, like the Flying Spaghetti Monster article, this should stay in mainspace. It's clearly labelled as a parody. If it were completely "serious", then yes, I think it should be moved. At most I think we could clarify it a little to show more similarities between it and Intelligent Design. Thoughts? Cow...Hammertime! 17:57, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Also, unlike funspace, this is actually funny. ТyComplaints 17:58, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Thermodynamics[edit]

The article seems to be a bit snarky about the theory, but really it makes a lot more sense than so-called "gestation", which clearly breaks the second law of thermodynamics by creating people out of blood and stuff. Have you tried melting something and mixing it up? Easily done. Now try the reverse. You can't because of entropy.
