2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

I removed "...whilst paying no attention whatsoever[1] to search engine ranking." from the last paragraph (left the ref) because it doesn't make any sense (in context). If someone knows what it was trying to say feel free to reword. ħumanUser talk:Human 18:26, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

The context was that SEOs bust their arses trying to climb Google and deeply resent that Wikipedia doesn't even bother trying. I'd have thought it obvious from context, and have restored it - David Gerard (talk) 19:12, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
I rewrote it to say what you just said. It only became clear after you explained it. I also got rid of that chiz! chiz! thing. ħumanUser talk:Human 00:30, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
