Talk:Spirit guide
I'll write on this subject when I get back.[edit]
I'll also try and rope a friend to help me. Spirit guides, and related concepts are wildly popular in 'fluffy bunny' neopaganism, and she despairs of hearing about them. There seems to be a split between animal-based guides and mystical being/humanoid guides, which is entirely dictated by what seems cooler at the time. ±KnightOfTL;DRlongissimus non legeri 11:54, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
Link[edit]
Is the link appropriate? The url sounds relevant but there's nothing on the first page of the site about spirit guides as such. — Haamer (talk) 12:23, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
- OK, you have a point. I felt too yuckky to actually look that closely. Bob Soles (talk) 12:33, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
Practical suggstion[edit]
Be practical and select from the less popular categories of spirit guides. With the popular categories 'all the best ones will already have been taken' - but you will have your choice of gulperfish, weeds, (member of obscure profession) etc - and they will be #very grateful#. And - rather than having Genghis Khan as your mentor, get a pet historian or SPAD (who will research the most appropriate parallels for you). 171.33.222.26 (talk) 14:45, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
