RESPONSIBILITY, n. A detachable burden easily shifted to the shoulders of God, Fate, Fortune, Luck or one's neighbor. In the days of astrology it was customary to unload it upon a star.
—Ambrose Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary (1911)
RATIONAL, adj. Devoid of all delusions save those of observation, experience and reflection.

According to an otherkin, I suck at "giving the hammer".

(I'll just post on the thread. — Haamer (talk) 23:36, 4 April 2012 (UTC))
Hi. And welcome. Just to be clear about where you are coming from - do you consider yourself to be "otherkin"? Cheers.--Bob"What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence." 17:45, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
TY. And no. I've linked to my tumblog above, there's a description of my interests on the sidebar and one of the recent posts is about otherkin and why I have a problem with them. — Haamer (talk) 17:48, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
OK. Cheers. Thanks for that. :-) --Bob"What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence." 20:52, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

I made a bit of a mess of Template:Award if you're able to help. Thanks Bob Soles (talk) 11:56, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Did I fix it? I have to do math after every revert. — Haamer (talk) 12:00, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. That'll do nicely. Bob Soles (talk) 12:05, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
What is that place anyway? — Haamer (talk) 12:08, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
This is my take - others may disagree.
When RW was first founded it consisted of refugees from CP and its prime purpose was CP watching. It was a small community, everyone knew each other and, above all, it was snarky.
As part of the snark RWW was constructed to be the wiki which watches the wiki which watches the wiki. Snark++ Particularly amusing, in my view, were the little pen portraits of RW users which had the golden rule - you can't edit your own.
Over time RW has grown and is now
  • A much wider, more diverse community
  • Far less CP centric
As such RWW has also evolved. However it is not necessarily a happy place. More and more it has become the arena where people take their gripes, their squabbles, their arguments. The great Neu Kulture (don't ask) debate raged long and hard over there.
Currently the biggest argument is over ownership and whether RWW is worth the operating costs.
But, as I said, others may disagree. Bob Soles (talk) 13:20, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Oh thanks. When I first saw it I guessed it was owned and operated by some major RW-haters. — Haamer (talk) 13:23, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Actually it is owned by a member of the RW board of trustees and operated by pretty much by the people here. Just so much drama -_- ТyYarrr 13:48, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Our somewhat out-of-date take on them RationalWikiWiki and the even more self-referential and more out-of-date RationalWikiWikiWiki. --Bob"What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence." 14:29, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Hey, you done got made a psi-ops. psychic operations manual might be helpful. Omar (gibber) 14:11, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Casue that's the rules. No removing talk page posts unless it is spam or "obviously vile trolling" ТyrannisAn iron, but caring, fist 13:42, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
