What's her connection with GG?--Kugelschreiber (talk) (mail) (block) 00:06, 29 May 2016 (UTC) 00:06, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

She is real, right?[edit]

I don't want to create my own conspiracy, but there have been a lot of attempts to influence western thought by other states. We do know that this surprisingly good-looking young lady actually exists and is not the creation of some syrian intelligence agency?Hubert (talk) 18:28, 21 May 2019 (UTC)

She wasn't magicked out of thin air by Assad no. — Dysk (contribs) 18:49, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
OK, thanks. But what I was really wondering was if there was any evidence one way or the other?Hubert (talk) 20:20, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
Besides the fairly large amount of video footage which she appears in including multiple independent shows and podcasts? I think it's safe to say this is a real person. — Dysk (contribs) 20:56, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
@DysklyverWell, the links on the site are to the Daily Mail - which doesn't really fill me with confidence, and the youtube account which has been closed. So the only things on the actual page are the twitter links.
I see that wikipedia has an article on her. Maram SusliWikipedia's W.svg On the other hand the WP article led me to this Guradian artilce which has her as a "Russion account".
I'm not claiming she doesn't exist. But any other random skeptic landing on this page might well ask the same question.Hubert (talk) 15:58, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
The more I look into this the more confusing it gets. The Russian news site RT comes out strongly in her defense. But, if you are accused of being a Russian false flag operation, them vigorous denials from RT aren't really helpful.
various other sites have her as a russian operation too. But I am not familiar with these sources and I don't know if they are any more reliable than RT.Hubert (talk) 19:08, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
If you're wondering if she works for the Russians, the answer is probably yes. :/ 20:44, 22 May 2019 (UTC)— Unsigned, by: D / talk / contribs
Unless anyone has any objection I will add some of these doubts to the article.Hubert (talk) 11:49, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
