Can we make the blog post refs into a bullet list again? I think it makes sense to make each link to a post its own line. ħumanUser talk:Human 04:15, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

I will get right on it. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 04:15, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Nice work, ladies. Amin7b5 04:17, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

In answer to Human's edit summary, "the Hammer" they are referencing is Martel's hammer. They see themselves as the defenders of Western civilization a la the Carolingian defense against the Muslim Expansion.--Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 04:48, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

It looks more like a battle-axe to me... Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 04:51, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Their symbol is the Roman fasces. But their blog is called "the Hammer." That was Martel's nickname, because he hammered the shit out of the caliphate.--Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 05:07, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Do you mean their symbol that we have on the page? That is not a fasces. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 05:10, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Not strictly--but it is reminiscent of one, IMHO. Amin7b5 05:14, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

(EC) Looked like one to me, although now I'm not sure. Hard to tell, I guess, since it has no detail. Maybe it is Martel's hammer instead? Example of fasces.--Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 05:15, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Fascis are generally not depicted in a hand, as the bundle of sticks is meant to be carried in a dignified manner rather than wielded in a bellicose one (and, besides, it is too big around). The logo is, I quite agree, reminiscent of a fasces. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 05:24, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, let's not overstep here, in our eagerness. They provide plenty of clear targets to debunk, let's not make any up if they're not clear? ħumanUser talk:Human 05:41, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

"Nordic Thor thing?"[edit]

They do not appear to have anything resembling Mjollnir in any of their symbols; indeed, most of their symbolic stuff seems to be of Southern European origin (the fasces, for example). My guess is that they are using a "hammer" as a symbol of action or strength, like the BUF's Flash-In-A-Pan. Money[edit]

Whois says Kevin ("I'm an 'Odinist' Because I Listen to a Lot of Heavy-Metal Music") DeAnna. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 05:56, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Please add under prominent assholes? ħumanUser talk:Human 05:58, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Oh yeah. He's all over teh kengoogle. ħumanUser talk:Human 05:58, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Hit 4: (2006) "Kevin DeAnna is a recent graduate of William & Mary who is currently being sued for libel." Hmmmmmm, nice people, eh? ħumanUser talk:Human 05:59, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Shit he wrote. [1] ħumanUser talk:Human 06:02, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

"The problem is the ideology of diversity and multiculturalism itself."

"Speeches for cutting taxes or removing tariffs are not shut down, nor do mask-wearing maniacs cause a scene at lectures on the Federal Reserve. However, speeches even mildly critical of racial preferences, illegal immigration, or judicially imposed gay marriage result in violence, chaos, and ultimately repression"

"Playing by the left’s rules is a losing strategy. This is why I started Youth for Western Civilization as a movement to confront the cult of diversity and multiculturalism and the repression that inevitably follows. Contrary to the smears of the far-left, we are not “racist” – we have a multiracial membership united in the belief that America is our home and Western culture is our culture and we will fight to defend them. We are fighting against multicultural groups largely defined by ethnic identity that despise both. "

rofl[edit]

This is some hilarious satire.

Khan[edit]

"The logo for YWC, eerily resembling a fasces — the symbol of fascism. Probably just a coincidence."

You know what else resembles the symbol of fascism?

"all those stinking multiculturalists decided to infiltrate all levels of society."

It's not a conspiracy theory if it's not a secret. Or do you deny that the universities, the media, and the government are largely run by multiculturalists?

"An image of Charles Martel from the YWC blog. This Frankish Duke is most notable for his victory at the Battle of Tours, where he killed many Muslims and stopped the Umayyad advance. But the YWC doesn't want to kill Muslims. Coincidence, is all."

People who have pictures of Roosevelt must want to Kill Japanese people.
