See the Wikipedia article on [[wp:{{{1}}}|{{{1}}}]].
Usage
A simple template for linking to particular articles at WP without making what appear to be blue links. May need slight text tweaking.
- Parameter 1 = exact wikipedia title
- Parameter 2 = preferred text (optional)
Example:
{{wpa|clueless}}
yields:
See the Wikipedia article on clueless.
and
{{wpa|clueless|idiots}}
See the Wikipedia article on idiots.
This template is the same as {{w}}
, but it includes links to Wikipedia in footnotes.
While this can be used for references, please try to keep this to a minimum. Silver- and gold-level articles really shouldn't have Wikipedia references.
