Template talk:Wpa
Werry good! Couldn't it be made to default to the PAGENAME? ContribsTalk 20:32, 18 July 2008 (EDT)
- It could , but that's not the point - it's for other crap in a page that we refer to, like in ELs. For PAGENAME, we have the "wp" template box thing.
"Temporary"[edit]
This is better, IMHO. FuzzyCatPotato of the Clammy Articles (talk/stalk) 17:05, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
- Seems (quite) a bit redundant to me, but whatever. ħuman

- I also prefer the old version, this is only while interwiki links are broken. Christopher (talk) 17:27, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
- Ah, ok, that makes sense. ħuman

- Reverted now that interwiki links work again. Christopher (talk) 16:32, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
Not really fond of using Wikipedia links in references[edit]
Is there a reason to use this over wpl? wpl feels more efficient to use, and also I feel wpa has been used to inflate the amount of references an article has (Wikipedia articles don't count as references to me). --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario! 04:36, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
- I think we should have an official policy to no longer use this in articles, and I was considering making it so that this template adds Category:Articles that need better sourced statements to articles it is used in. But it is currently used in over 2,000 pages, so any sweeping changes regarding this template would be difficult. Plutocow (talk) 03:44, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
