She is frequently referred to as a Communist, Pinko, Hippie, political radical, or (bizarrely) punk as a result of her political beliefs and refusal to give much heed to others' arguments if they are composed of one giant fallacy. She is an example of the rare Catholic Liberal, and one of the even fewer who actually believe in Freedom of Religion in America.
