The Internet Hate Machine is a term I use to describe the state of negativity on the internet. In my time spent on it, it seems that there is gradually becoming no room for positivism and that it is more popular on the internet to just hate things.
Terms[edit]
- Internet tough guy - The idea of anonymity turns up the dials on what is being said. Increases the likelyhood of threats and content of threats. In person, someone who's a real tough guy might say "I'm going to slap you" or "beat you up" but on the Internet, that is more likely to turn into "I'm going to kill you" or even more imaginative insults.
