You may not have anything to say, but allow me to give you a welcome to the cheesy US Navy aircraft carrier of the US Navy aircraft carriernet. ĴαʊΆʃÇä₰ No comment

- I notice by your edit summary that you have encountered our new user restriction. This restricts your edits to one every 15 or so seconds, and is applied to every new user. It is generally done to make vandalism less fun (not that we get a lot of it). Don't worry, it will be lifted by about this time tommorow or so. ĴαʊΆʃÇä₰ No comment
- Hi Fortinbrass (I've heard that name before somewhere), I'd say hello, but it seems that if I do you'll be either jumped on by someone (dig @ Java) or turn out to be a troll, so I'll just introduce myself: and marmite 10:15, 6 December 2008 (EST)
- Nice Userbox collection - you should feel at home here. and marmite 10:45, 6 December 2008 (EST)

Re:Parochial Writer[edit]
(Note: This is pretty much exactly the same thing I wrote on another user's page, but, Christ, it's like 5:00 right now. Sorry-I'd write you some schmancy custom-tailored apology under different circumstances, but if I tried now it would end up coming out like gibberish. Much like this.)
I feel bad now. You're absolutely right--the "sceptic-->skeptic" edit was dumb, ethnocentric, and churlish. It was 4:00 AM, and I was running the Evolution article through the Microsoft Word Spellchecker, and it showed "sceptic" as misspelled, and for whatever stupid reason of its own my mind jumped to the conclusion that "septic" was spelled "sceptic" (which, as User:Genghis_Khant GenghisKhant pointed out, is not in fact true), even though I've seen "sceptic" in print with the definition used in the article hundreds of times before. So, to to you, and to the rest of the English speaking world: I'm sorry. I feel like a jerk. A Writer of Vaudevilles 08:22, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- Hey! Don't beat yourself over it! If we never made mistakes, we'd never make anything. Fortinbrass 08:40, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- Thanks for being so understanding! Now, I just have to beg forgiveness from several billion other people. :7(
- Do you know, before tonight I had never really used an emoticon. It's a lot less fun than I expected. A Writer of Vaudevilles 08:44, 7 December 2008 (EST)
Persons who block persons who are unable to block persons shouldn't block persons[edit]
Specially when the person who is blocking the person has their talk page locked so that the person being blocked can't complain to the person blockng the person. Fortinbrass 08:57, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- Sorry Fortinbrass, I didn't realise you couldn't edit my TP. I only locked it as a temporary measure against BoN's. BTW the block was only in jest OK? ГенгисIs the Pope a Catholic? 09:11, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- Of course, Oh leader of the mighty hordest. What did I spell incorrectly anyhoo? Fortinbrass 09:14, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- You had a stray 'v', which you removed, but that doesn't make the offence any the less serious. BTW you're heading for another block becaue of the extra 't' in your previous comment. ГенгисIs the Pope a Catholic? 09:20, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- HA! The extra "T" is intentional Genghis KhanT. Fortinbrass 09:22, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- I bow before your wit. Now, about the "kinky" user box.... ГенгисIs the Pope a Catholic? 09:25, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- So! You have been perusing my private spaces? There are names for that sort of person. (Dunno what those names are, but I'm sure they exist) Would you hold it against me? (That I might be kinky I mean) (only a little kinky) (well, hardly kinky at all really) Fortinbrass 09:36, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- Can someone throw a sysopship on Fortinbrass? She leaves damn to many red exclamation marks... --LArron 09:30, 7 December 2008 (EST)

- FourTinBras you will learn that a woman's work is never done. The mop and bucket are in the usual place. I see you already overcame the initative test. ГенгисIs the Pope a Catholic?
