User talk:Truth Division
First off, welcome to RW. Secondly, you might want to go ahead and revise that Subliminal ads article you just created. Don't sign it for starters. Actually, it's just an overall clusterfuck, it reads like something that should be on the talk page. --PitchBlackMind 00:30, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
Although you don't seem to be quite sure of what we're doing here. ħuman 02:22, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
- Have a read of this. And welcome to RationalWiki, Al-Muḥyi

- Indeed, Chemtrails are complete rubbish. Ace McWickedi9 03:11, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- Evidence: Chemicals do fall off the plane (protective coating of the paint job, due to air resistance). The coating however, lasts longer than the aircraft's useful life for most airplanes (The fact that the repainter has to get rid of the old coat after hundreds if not thousands of flight). So unless you are talking about nanograms or less (you have to blend stuff to the coatings) per kilometre of stuff (not counting diffusive/convective mass transfer back to ground level) is significant (so stuff you actually breathe in goes to like picogram) to your health, please list the chemicals. Perhaps I said too much. [[User:K61824|]][[User_talk:K61824|]] 03:34, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Are you people for real? Have you considered forming BizarroWiki? ~ Truth Division 14:31, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- Chemtrails are bogus as fuck man, there's nothing bizarre about not buying it. I had a history teacher in junior high who was a conspiracy nut and he showed us a video on chemtrails during class one day; I found it absurd at age 13 and I find it absurd at age 23. --PitchBlackMind 03:41, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
All truth passes through three stages. First it is ridiculed. Second it is violently opposed. And third it is accepted as self-evident ~ Schopenhauer Truth Division
- The statement that truth passes through those stages, while proponents of fringe ideas love to refer to it, has no evidence to back it up. However, for the sake of argument, even if we assume it is true, it does not mean that "all things that are ridiculed are truth." tmtoulouse 15:18, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Just out curiosity, has anyone even checked out this link [2] or are we just playing mind games? ~ Truth Division 14:38, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- Watch about 8 minutes of it and got bored. There is a difference between high altitude contrails and low altitude vapor trails! I am shocked! It is a conspiracy! Contrails form by similar means of any cirrus cloud, when contrails form cirrus clouds form! I am shocked! It is a conspiracy! Contrails contain little crystals, and when the sun shines on them at different angles they change colors, kinda like clouds. I am shocked! It is a conspiracy! Meh....all of this is of course in the chemtrails article. tmtoulouse 16:16, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, Dr, I guess that settles it. And you have a degree in . . . ? Now I'm bored.
- Don't you see? Chemtrails are just a distraction from the true nefarious plot. The Elders of Zion allied with the Illuminati to use the Skull & Bones Society as a front group and execute a false flag operation against the Federal Reserve, which will set the stage for the New World Order to be ruled by reptile aliens once the world ends in 2012. --PitchBlackMind 16:51, 23 June 2009

Subliminal Ads Doesn't Exist or No Such Thing? ~ Truth Division
- Wait, wait, wait, you are going to pull in credentials on me? When your evidence is some random guy on youtube? Hmm....anyway, while my degrees are not related to contrail physics, those whose educational expertise does involve such phenomenon are nearly universally against your conspiracy theory. Now as for subliminal messages, that is MUCH more closely aligned with my degrees in psychology and neuroscience. So if you need an argument from authority I can provide you with that. tmtoulouse 17:06, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
OK. So what rational explanation do you have for this? [4] ~ Truth Division
- My rational explanation for this? It's an art photography billboard from these guys. A two minute Google search yielded that pretty quickly. Thanks for playing. --PitchBlackMind 18:16, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Great! Now I know it's a billboard. Take away the website info and all you're left with is a violent city image for no apparent reason. People aren't googling as they drive by. What's the motive? ~ Truth Division
- Are you really asking what the motive is for artists to display their art? You'd have to ask them to be sure, but I can guess their answer: to produce an emotional response in the viewer. --PitchBlackMind 19:17, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- I have a Chemical engineering degree, so The stuff I am going to contend with a bit of authority is not the actual contrail physics, but the requirement of mass transfer of whatever substance you claim from the altitude of the plain back to ground level. Perhaps you can define your scenario in more details (how high the plane is flying, what/how mcuh are they releasing and all that), no? [[User:K61824|]][[User_talk:K61824|]] 17:19, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- To sum up; you claim their is a giant conspiracy that is using technology powerful enough to secretly control the weather, and you are challenging them with videos on youtube? And this sounds reasonable to you? Z3rotalk 17:23, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Conspiracy? That's your word, not mine. Where I live, there are not many jets passing, but on several day I've watched as many jets criss-crossed the sky leaving their c-trails in grid patterns and x's that don't dissipate, but spread out and merge over the course of the afternoon turning a clear blue sky into a white overcast haze. The YouTube link was just to show some good examples. ~ Truth Division
- Whatever word you want to use, my point remains the same; some group is powerful enough to control the weather, and you think regular people can oppose them? They can control the weather, they're supervillians!! Z3rotalk 18:05, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- So there's not many jets passing where you live, yet on many a day you've seen jets passing. This seems to me like you're really seeing what you want to see here. Much like that ridiculous link you posted of a billboard with dogs fighting which apparently is a calling card of the New World Order. --PitchBlackMind 18:06, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Talk Page Contents[edit]
Hey there, please don't delete talk page comments, even on your own talk page, unless there is a compelling reason to do so, such as somebody inappropriately posting personal information. If you want to archive, that's perfectly acceptable as long as the archives remain accessible. This is one of the few things that would probably qualify as a rule on RW. "as long as the archives remain accessible"[edit]
That's fine with me but what happened to my original comment on chemtrails. Where'd that go? ~ Truth Division 14:31, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- You mean the one you displayed on the actual article? It was reverted, mainly because that kind of stuff goes on the talk pages. Probably also because it was endorsing chemtrails. --PitchBlackMind 04:14, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
