This might be Skepticism |
But we're not sure |
Who's asking? |
Paul Kurtz (1925-2012) was one of the founding figures (if not the founding figure) of secular humanism and the American skeptical movement. He founded the Prometheus Books publishing company in 1969, the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal (CSICOP, now the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry) in 1976, the Council for Secular Humanism in 1980 and the Center for Inquiry in 1991.[1]
