So how do we fix such errors? Read-Write (talk) 05:05, 18 March 2016 (UTC)

By not using overcomplicated templates carelessly ported from other websites. WěǎšěǐǒǐďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 10:09, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
That doesn't fix the existing errors. Can I just delete the section of the ref with the DOI? Thanks, Read-Write (talk) 11:11, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
For some reason the doi does not work at all, so unless somebody is going to fix you might as well remove the parameter. But please DO NOT DELETE THE CITE TEMPLATES. I use them a lot.--JorisEnter (talk) 11:16, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
Someone very brave could edit Template:Citation/identifier and in the doi handling section do something as simple as replace the "hide in print" section with the "only in print" section, or as complex as actually fixing it. It would involve tampering with a template used on RATHER A LOT OF PAGES so the scope for screwing up RW is high, but it's not as if anyone's relying on RW anyway. Fucking up any of the cite templates would indeed fuck up a lot of pages. *casual reference to Modern Science in the Bible*--JorisEnter (talk) 14:48, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
