Good edits[edit]
Great work. We need more sober workhorses here.---Mona- (talk) 04:23, 29 December 2015 (UTC)

Appeal to nature[edit]
I reverted your edit, with reason 3/5 weren't actually natural, they were just shitty human ideas... and "natural" death, lol. Fuzzy "Cat" Potato, Jr. (talk/stalk) 01:22, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
Use your power wisely, Oh Great One[edit]
The Council of Rational Wiki Sachems has I bestowed on you the powers of a sysop. This I did because 1. your edits have been outstanding, and 2. you haven't had to be warned about doing unfortunate things even once. Live long and edit.---Mona- (talk) 04:45, 4 January 2016 (UTC)

Admiration[edit]
The admiration meter is running high for your tackling of the poor formatting at Fun:Songs. Very good work. --TheroadtoWiganPier (talk) 06:50, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
"only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry"[edit]
Well, there's your problem right there. :/ 142.124.55.236 (talk) 04:04, 11 January 42016 AQD (UTC)
I don't know why you did that....[edit]
...but please don't move stuff from an article's talk page to some random page on the wiki for no apparent reason. Thanks. Peace. AgingHippie (talk) 05:54, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
- I deleted my earlier post in Fun talk:Greatest songs, liberal and conservative because I put new proposed changes in the Sandbox and posted in the Forum. Why did you delete it? WTF? Read-Write (talk) 02:59, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
- I think the weird thing was deleting stuff from a talk page. That's generally not allowed. If it's long and no longer relevant you could collapse it.---Mona- (talk) 03:37, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, Mona. I was just thinking of posting on your User talk page because I'm not sure how this works and how best to communicate with other users. I deleted my own posting on that Talk page to replace it with a link to my question on the Forum, but my question isn't on the Forum and there doesn't seem to be much of a Fossil Record. ? Did I screw up somehow posting there? And what is the Sandbox for? Is it just for testing for your own use or for others to see? I did a lot of work on the Songs page but didn't want to delete all those songs, even though I don't see how they relate, without some opportunity for discussion. But post in the Sandbox was deleted. I looked in the Technical support but didn't find answers to these questions. Thanks for your feedback.Read-Write (talk) 03:47, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
- Definitely the best way to communicate with other users is to post on their talk page. Also, please be advised that I'm kind of a ninny about stuff here ands still learning a lot myself. I only used the Forum the first few days I arrived here and realized that's not much help -- you'll get a lot more useful input posting in the Saloon -- which is the first link under "Community" on your left. I'm not entirely sure what you are asking about deletion of your songs -- isn't that all still there? Sandbox is for "practice" and trying text/content out. But I don't think I've ever used it (tho I'm sure I should have.) Hope this helps. BTW, AgingHippie is a good guy. He's a little quick on the trigger sometimes, but he's often right.---Mona- (talk) 03:56, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

- What's really weird is how AH complains about a post being moved from a talkpage to a separate forum and then proceeds to delete every trace of the post. >.>
But Read-Write, the best way to communicate is probably by posting on the relevant talkpage. People don't pay that much attention to the forums. If you have a lot of stuff to post, perhaps best put it in a collapsible box so people aren't overwhelmed by it. 141.134.75.236 (talk) 04:24, 14 January 2016 (UTC)- OOPS, my bad -- I thought I had rolled it back on the original talk page to restore that huge chunk that had been removed. I just went and replaced it. Apologies. Peace. AgingHippie (talk) 05:18, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
- Also Read-Write, see the Welcome banner at the top? Read the links suggested there. Follow more of the links in those!---Mona- (talk) 04:39, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, thanks. I just found the CollapseComment template. That might help with making that giant Fun page less unruly. I guess I could add a post in the Saloon with a link to that talkpage to draw attention to it in case anyone has strong feelings about it. It's just a Fun page. Would any of you object to deleting the sections of songs on Drugs, Alcohol, Sex, and Masturbation, etc.? It's supposed to be Greatest Songs, Liberal and Conservative.Read-Write (talk) 05:31, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
- AgingHippie: OK, I didn't understand why my edits weren't just reverted. Sorry about deleting my earlier post on that talkpage and filling up the Sandbox. I'll play around the CollapseComment template some more and put that on that talkpage if it seems to work.Read-Write (talk) 05:31, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Your songs[edit]
I moved them to User:Read-Write/sandbox. You can make subpages easily in your userspace and play around with them, without fear of the nasty evil community breaking your toys. =) The FCP Foundation (talk/stalk) 04:18, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
Bacevich[edit]
Have you seen his latest? Who Runs the Pentagon? I'm sure there is an article or two here that could benefit from some quotes or a citation to that but I haven't gotten around to it.---Mona- (talk) 03:44, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll check it out. --Read-Write (talk) 03:46, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
